Directions
From the South:
I-95 N to exit 62 (288 N). Stay on 288 for 20 miles to the US 60 E (Midlothian Turnpike) exit towards Midlothian. Continue on Midlothian Turnpike for about 1 mile to Ivymont Square Shopping Center on the right.

From the North:
I-95 S to exit 84B (I-295) toward Charlottesville. Stay on 295 until it merges into I-64 W toward Charlottesville. Stay on I-64 for about 2 miles, then take the exit for 288 S. Stay on 288 for 11 miles, then take the exit for US 60 E (Midlothian Turnpike) towards Midlothian. Continue on Midlothian Turnpike for about 1 mile to Ivymont Square Shopping Center on the right.

From the East:
I-64 W to Richmond. Take exit 190 (I-95 S). Stay on I-95 for about 1 mile, then take exit 74A (Downtown Expressway) stay on Downtown Expressway (you'll pay a toll eventually) for about 3 miles, then take the ramp to the Powhite Parkway. Stay on Powhite Parkway about 5 miles (pay another toll) to the US 60 W (Midlothian Turnpike) exit. Stay on Midlothian Turnpike for about 7 miles. Ivymont Square Shopping Center will be on your left.

From the West:
I-64 E to 288 S. Stay on 288 for 11 miles, then take the exit for US 60 E (Midlothian Turnpike) towards Midlothian. Continue on Midlothian Turnpike for about 1 mile to Ivymont Square Shopping Center on the right.


Registration begins at 10:00 A.M. sharp!!

Format: Modified Limited
Rounds: Age Modified Swiss (# of Rounds to be determined by attendance)

Each player will receive six packs of ex “Legend Maker” boosters to make a 40-card deck including energy. Basic energy cards will be provided.

Prizes: Each Age Group (10-Under, 11-14, 15-over)
o Every player will receive: Pre-release Promo Card, Pre-release Player Pin, and special ex Legend Maker exclusive merchandise
o All participants will receive, after the completion of the tournament, an additional two Booster Packs of ex “Legend Maker”

Well...

I guess if push came to shove, I could do it. I would have to learn how to use the software, but I am a Pokemon Prof. and I guess that is all I need. Let me know what is going on as soon as you guys know.

Guys, PTOs must organize pre releases, at least as far as I know. Pete D. and I have spoken about Javier becoming a PTO. (Sensei and I have discussed this, too) If Javier isn't interested in becoming a PTO, and Sensei is unavailable, I'll be happy to come up to Game Parlor and run one for the NoVAers (If you still come down to Richmond lol!!) I'd have to contact the store owner up there, of course and check their calendar. (but the deadline for ordering is Monday, I think)
In the meantime--Sensei, where are you????
 
srry totoro gonna have to count out challengerb on this one(same day as district chours rehersal and concert)
but i heard rumor that the rest of the nova clan will be there

10am?! Being able to get out of work is one thing. Being able to actually wake up for the event be a problem. NOVA = ~2 hours drive *eyes*

I can't wait for this one. This set is awesome. I heard that Woodbridge was a blast. Well people Mr. T really shows his magic at home town so come and have a great time:biggrin:
 
Guys I just got word that the Richmond Times-Dispatch is doing an article on the tournament in Thursday's "Weekend" section!! No telling what effect this will have on attendance, so my advice is get there early!! (remember that bit about "while supplies last....")

With the threat of snow on Saturday is there a chance the event will be cancelled?
I plan to come snow or rain. I just don't want to brave the weather only to find it has been cancelled.

Yes, the Woodbridge event was great and Totoro did a great job running it.

Unless the roads are totally impassible, I plan on being there to run the event. If any of you want to pm me your cells, I can call you Saturday A.M. if I learn that Richmond Comix will be closed due to inclement weather. I'll see the owner Friday night and discuss this with him, but I think with the newspaper article and the loyal players coming from "up North", he'll do everything in his power to get the store open. But, of course, I want everyone to be safe!! (NoVA usually gets more snow than we do)
 
im trying to convince as many people to go as possible. 5 so far!
