(NoVA usually gets more snow than we do)
I was about to say...

Friday's high and low are supposed to be around 46 and 28 degrees respectively while Saturday's are to be 39 and 28 respectively. The ground may be too warm for the snow to stick. Then again, it's going to be cold enough all week. And when it snows, people drive less safe (myself not necessarily excluded from that group  ).

I'm watching the news right now and it says the snow is expected down to Culpepper from Saturday morning to Saturday night :frown: . 5 inches worth of it apparently.

It snowed coming back to NOVA from the City's in Midlothian.

I will be leaving NoVA by 8 am so I should have no problems getting there. The trip back is my only concern right now.

I guess if I get there and the weather gets bad after the tournament, I will get a hotel and stay nice and warm. There are hotels in the area, right?

Who knows, this might just be another big bad wolf story and we will get rain.

Yup, hotels in the area (indoor plumbing and everything!! ) but I'm betting it will be rain by the end of the pr anyway! (or is that hoping??)

Rain in Midlothian, I wouldn't be surprised. What about in NOVA?

Edit: Heard Midlothian area should expect 1-3 inches of snow. wow.

It's all good

well, unless there are 8 inches of snow and two inches of ice on the ground, as long as the store is open, we will be there. ahh the power of the SUV!

Props: All players who braved the weather to come and play, especially those NoVA folks who travelled 100+ miles!!
New players who saw the article in the Richmond Times-Dispatch and came to play!
All 10- players--many, many prereleases have only a few in this group. 8 is great!!
Pam for putting up with Pokémon cards and chatting around the house constantly!!
Danny, you're a steamroller, man!
Megan, I told you the game will never fail you!!
Patrick, it's about time for your birthday!!

Slops:
TOM for not liking repairing, but we got the job done!

I thought the tournament went great! My son and I had a lot of fun and spent too much money on new booster packs after the event.

The trip back to NoVa was wet but not bad until about 10 miles from home. Got home and the snow started coming down hard. Ended up with about 10" so it was timed perfectly.

Hope to see you all at States!
