Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Ridiculous pokemon.

They need to make a pokemon that can invent itself. that'd be kinda clever. and one that is able to exist only to contradict the fact it doesn't exist.

I still find it ridiculous that Charizard and Gyarados don't have a third type for Dragon. Lugia could also get away with this.

Something to add to the next generation of games, then. There are probably about a half dozen Pokemon that could be 3 types, and they can pretty easily make more if they wanted.

My favorite of all: Pinsir SW

"It grips its prey with its pincer until the prey is torn in half..."

I thought pokemon weren't supposed to die...except Marowak...

i think that gyrados should have been dragon water to begin with.
he isnt flying at all! he cant learn a SINGLE flying type attack that i know of!
3 type pokemon would be very interesting though. but maybe a little too complicated for the youngin's.

It's just the American senselessly-conservative "never say die" mentality at work. You know, the one that lets you show things as violently as you like, but the moment the concept of death enters it, it becomes "inappropriate."

Worth noting that death is a lot more common in the original Japanese. For example, Ash's Butterfree rather explicitly dies in season 1, which for some reason got changed to just "going away" in the dub.

Flygon:

BUG

Beedrill:

Aerodactyl:

Laparas:

Empoleon:

Yet nothing bad happens to them when you summon them underwater, or when they get hit with Surf (a giant wave of water that would put the thing out in a right hurry), or anything at all past the one animé episode with the rain making the Charmander nearly die.

Hasn't anyone seen Regigigas? It "pulled the continents together with ropes" - this means it went through the ocean! Must be a good swimmer... and it also must be VERY strong...

It also must have had some strong ropes, considering there aren't any materials I can think of that can withstand that kind of tension.

If it traveled between contintents it's most likely that it walked along the seabed rather than swimming.

Well... Pokemon are just generly expected to breath. Except Water Pokemon. They have gills. And the last time I checked, Regigigas is NOT a Water Pokemon.
