There you have it guys, round one is complete. There were a lot of good decks, a lot of creativity. Round 2 will begin tomorrow, the challenges will be released. Feel free to discuss the decks posted.

I really enjoyed that round, especially the Victreebel.
I am also dissapointed a few players didnt submit anything, but with that said. If you did submit something and somehow I missed it, LET ME KNOW ASAP.

I had an idea that might benefit the 'Gym as a whole. Why not create a thread for each pod so the competitors could post their lists/strategy guides for the general public to see? This would obviously be after each round was scored and be completely optional for each person involved. I think those outside of the contest could greatly benefit in seeing how some of the better deck builders out there go about coming up with a list and why. It might also shed a bit more light on what is expected from those of us that are in the contest based on what the more successful people are doing, thus making the competition a bit more robust. A front page link or something to that effect could help drum up some more interest in the contest from those not involved (or not aware of it) as well.

Darkwalker, I like the idea, but the thing is I do not want the ideas posted and then netdecked for the competition.

Would it be possible to update one thread with all this information?

There could be a table of contents on the first page....And so everything would be in one place.

Idk, maybe it wouldnt work, but it seems more efficient
 
Gowk, there will be some changes concerning the threads. I will no longer PM people their scores, but simply keep all scores and update them in one thread. There will always be 2 threads per round, hopefully I can get those others locked so it could diffuse any confusion.

3 rounds of Swiss, bro. We just passed the Stage 2 round of Swiss. Still got Stage 1 and Basic to go.
 
OK then. Good to see I'm in top 8 for now, though I'm guessing staying there will be a little tricky.
Whatever, I'll just go super-bold again, I'll all work out :smile:

When I played this, I liked the element of surprise. I guess I can give some critiques and such but I will not be giving a score. My thoughts on the deck and a few critiques is what I will do:)

Round 2 will begin tonight, I will be making a new thread for Round 2.
