Round deck

Has anyone gotten it to work yet? It just seems too hard to get out all the evolutions in play. The deck list is kinda tight because you have to run 4-4-x seismitoad and 4-4 wigglytuff so I have problems making the deck consistent enough.

Any advice for the deck?

well the seismotoad line should be 4-2-4 and a 3-3 wigglytuff works fine. also you need to run 2 pichu if you werent alredy
hope i helped!

Interesting.. I thought you would want to max out the lines so you can have 6 Pokémon with the round attack on your field, which in return gives you a 180 power Round... but I guess that's hoping for too much.
Well I totally forgot about Rare Candy. 4-2-4 makes more sense then.

No. For a deck like the round decks, you want to play staggered evolution plays. 4-3-4 and 4-4-4 are better because you want to evolve something every turn (optimally multiple times). You can't always search out Rare Candy or Junk Arm to pick up the slack, and Palpitoad has round anyways, do you're better off manually slapping stuff down every turn. Still play 4 candies, though.

I personally find this deck to be rather fun. I personally run one and I'm very notorious at my leagues for running it. It's in no ways a top tier deck but it does put up quite a fight if you let it. Although with the upcoming BW-Onward format I wonder how to make this deck work?

Here's the initial list I run:

4-3-4 Seismitoad
4-4- Wigglytuff
1 Cleffa

4 Prof. Oak's New Theory
4 Pokemon Collector
2 Prof. Juniper
2 Super Rod
4 Rare Candy
4 Level Ball
3 Heavy Ball
2 Pokemon Communication
3 Switch

6 Water Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
2 Rescue Energy

Works alright for me.

I do 3-3 jiggly and 4-3-4 toads with max draw and level ball. This way you get as many new evolutions each turn as you need. Mine usually sets up turn 2 with 3 rounds sometimes 4.
