Due to different timezones, we will not be able to play our match.

Dark Shedinja can't stay up later than 11pm (4pm for me) and I'm still at work then and cannot play from here.

I can't play from 7am to 5pm which is when he would be available, due to work, so it's neither persons fault we can't play, just unfortunate schedules.
 
This is the one time I would have been able to play Volt when he would be able to play, but he is not on. Can't blame him though, it's 11:00 PM his time.

So basically, me and Volt will be unable to play our match due to our humongous time difference.
 
yea maybe there's really something that needs to be done about this time zone problem.
 
If me and Volt can't play our games, and Pablo and Dark Shedinja can't play theirs, how about I just play Pablo and Volt plays Dark Shedinja?
 
I think this is going to happen a lot in the future especially with the multiple events to come. Need to find a solution of some sort. I had to play a match at 2 am and that kinda suck but yea.
 
Yup we need a solution for this. Maybe Europe and NA brackets, and split the prizes in half, one for each division, but if it's not on the weekend I cannot play against a European.
 
I don't know how many are from NA and how many are not. =/

If there is a logical solution, I will use it.
 
Once someone signs up, they could state where they're from, and either try to pair EU vs EU and NA vs NA up until the final as much as possible, or have separate brackets and separate prizes for each. Otherwise there's going to be a lot of missed matches like this round in every tournament.

Another solution is to extend rounds until the weekends, but as we have also seen, BR's and other tourneys get in the way too and is no guarantee matches will get played.
