Ruling on: Quagsire GL from Platinum:Rising Rivals

It's effect is:
As long as Quagsire GL is on your bench, prevent all damage done to Quagsire GL by attacks(both yours and your opponents).

So if I had say two Quagsire GL on my Bench and one Quagsire GL as my active, my opponent wouldn't be able to do battle damage to the active one, correct?

It's likely self-referencing, so the active Quagsire GL would take damage still.

Instead of reading "Quagsire GL" read it as "this pokemon."
So...
