Sableye SF

With the new rule changes announced, how will the price of Sableye SF be affected?

Yes, it will almost certainly rotate at the end of the season, but I anticipate most decks running four for Nationals and Worlds. Discuss.

Other than on the FP with the rules from the deck, where was it announced? Does it clarify if there would be a mid season rotation and if so to what? That would have to be relevant before considering Sableye's price after a BW release. If it stays the same, Md-on, easily $20. And that's non holo.

I think it'll see the same demand as Claydol did for a while, the packs aren't readily available nor are the singles, it's a rare. I don't think $20 is out of the realm of possibilities particularly as the pressure builds and length of time shortens the closer we get to the more competitive events.

^It's been proven there that if there is a mid-sesion rotation then it won't be until at leased after Nats.

It would seem so, but it could just as easily be human error, copy/pasting what the current format is by whoever posts up info on the website. With the silence from P!P on the issue either way, though MANY threads have been posted speculating and though we all know those threads are read, I wouldn't read too much into that just yet and call it 100% confirmed.

I'm pretty sure sableye is an uncommon.

I imagine them being as high as poketurn or BTS at their peak, seeing as those are also uncommon cards that are frequently found in a lot of the best decks, so somewhere between $6-8 is a safe bet imo. Plenty of people already have playsets of this card I'm sure due to it being a staple in meta-decks such as gyarados and sablock, plus countless other rogue decks. So really, only newer players will want/need to play these outrageous prices for an uncommon in the near future.

If they ever get up to an excess of $20 then I think I could pay my next semester's college tuition all thanks to sableye :dark:

HA! So it is!

In that case it probably wouldn't get over $9-10 provided no rotation when BW is released. While you have plenty, SF packs are impossible to find and there are a lot of new players who don't have any. Maybe you can pay for half a semester!

I thought Sableye was already at 6-8 for the non-holo?

And if Sableye does jump up, I happen to know quite a few shops with SF packs ;)
