Sabrina's alakazam/misdreavous/dark gengar combo?

I want some feed back if this is a good combo or strategy for a deck. I was looking for my cards and I noticed that these 3 pokemon all tie in with each other. You need a misdreavous and a Dark gengar on the bench. Sabrinas alazkazam has out in play. If the oponent sends out a 60 hp or less pokemon you kill it. If its soemthing higher or stronger like a steelix/chansey heres where the fun begins. You use psylink (sabrinas alazkazam pkmn power) and you use Misdreavus's Night eyes to put teh defending pokemonasleep. Dark gengars pkmn power makes it so the chance of him staying a sleep doubles (becasuse you flip 2 coins if 1 is tails he remains sleeping). Then the next turn Sabrinas alazkazam uses misdreavious Perish song to Ko the defending pokemon.

#1 Does this combo work?
#2 Is it a good strategy in a deck?

1. I see no reason why not.
2. If you think you can get two stage 2s out in unlimited. I really wouldn't advise it, however.

I wouldnt consentrate so much on Dark Gengar, just keep Status healing cards, and TR Drowzee instead of Gengar.... A friend of mine tried this a while back, it worked better then than it would now, sinply since we came up withthe brilliant idea of Sabrina's Kazam + Metal Energy to Copy Missy's attacks....

Other S Kazam ideas that work well....

S Kazam, S ESP, Dusclops, SK Xatu
S Kadabra/Kazam, S ESP, Exp Plume

1: Seems pretty good to me.
2: I've always had difficulty getting two Stage 2 Pokemon out in the same game, but if you use cards that can help you get those big Pokemon out(I like to use Copycat myself), then it might be a little easier.

Pokemon Breeders/traders would be good to use in the deck right?

Ive often found that you can nicely combo, dark gengar, misdrevus and maybe TR drowzee and focus band/ GoW. :)
Attack w/ night eyes with Dark gengar on the bench leaving the defending asleep or if it wakes up use Drowzee to put it to sleep  and then OHKO it with a perish song. But misdreavus has a quite tiny HP so it may be put to waste when attacked after knocking something out.

Here is my response:

1. Of course its gonna work. There is Synergy between the two.
2. At this rate, it would be good in a deck. Since Breeders, Traders, and Rare Candies roam free in Unlimited Format, I think it would fit in the deck. IMO, you could even pull it off just with Misdreavus and Dark Gengar...

I just thought that Alakazam could KO the itty bitty basic pokemon with the 60 damage attack and since you cant use it twice in a row use misdreavois without misdrevious out because of the lack of HP.

In unlimited, I think things would get gusted way to quickly for the deck to setup. Once you perish song something, also, another bigger pokemon will come out and wreck what you have just done. Getting 3 energy on something is pretty hard work in Unlimited...

It is a nifty combo though... Sabrina's Kazam rocks with a lot of other stuff.

Babies w/ focus bands on them combigned with GOW will give you a hard time. Not to mention a Clefable and GOW combo. I play 4 Dbl. gust and 2/4 warp NRG as alot of people do so status doesn't mean that much, but along with the Drowzee maybe try to find room for a couple of the trainer card Sleep (I think that's what its called).
