guys, the first judging spots are being given to my LLs.
I have people who have been busting EVERY week for months and months helping me keep this game going and growing.
Those are the people that deserve the spots.
Stephanie F....twice a week a B&B is the BACKBONE of teaching new players to play and making people feel welcome at the Eureka location. When she is not there her sons pick up for her...one of which is now a professor. Joe C has been doing a nice job up there too, helping with the cards and such.
Melissa T...every week at Animagination...even when she is not feeling 100%. A fledgeling league with a few dedicated players. Props to Richard W on this too.
Mike C....sitting every week at Animagination Mills...teaching the 1 to 2 players who come in every week all about the game.
Judy W and Erin E and (boy I have to learn his name) - Illinois. They already have a 1 judge overflow for the 1 prerelease there. Judy Erin and the other guy (need your NAME dude!!!) have kept Pokemon growing and working for the past year in Illinois. Copper gets a real job and THEY pick up the torch!
Riq, Colin and Matt B...once again, a 3 headed monster out of St. Peters. Matt has stepped up as the "parent rep" of this league. I count to 3, one extra judge here.
I don't need to remind anyone what LLs get every session for helping out, do I? Oh, yeah, not much at all. 25 professor points if they are League Leaders. Sqaudoosh if they are not.
How many LLs do I have that are professors...um..Copper, Colin, umm....so EVERYONE else is doing this for the good of the game. And to grow the game. What is the ONLY tool I have to reward these people??? PreRelease Judging spots.
Then we have the power fringe...the people who are always willing to step up and help new people...and I am going to miss people here...Chad B and Rachel and Ron from St. P; Randy C and Jason F and Peter F out of Eureka, Ryan M out of Animag South; and frankly all of my Illinois Parents (what a cool group!)...those people deserve some love too, if available.
I have a lot of people doing a lot of things. Not many rewards to hand out (but more than other areas)
226 players later...I think they have really helped the game grow!
