Hello, all. As a Technical Support person for a computer company, I would like to make everyone aware of a new worm that is as annoying as the Blaster worm that hit last September (though isn't as damaging). It is called Sasser, and it addresses the LSASS Security Vulnerability of Windows NT based systems (NT, XP, 2000, and 2003).
The article concerning the vulnerability is located at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms04-011.mspx and a link for the patch is available on that page. I would strongly urge anyone that has not done so already or does not run their Windows Updates regulary install this patch, as further exploits may also appear in the future.
