How is that close to the TCG? I did, in fact, read your initial post, and all I have to say is that if someone didn't know what the Pokemon TCG was, and your first explanation was about how there is an elite deck society, that tries to find "the Truth, sort of like the X-Files!," is that really all that the TCG is about? I would say that that more sums up competitive play in the TCG, not the TCG itself.

Competitive play is a very very large part of the TCG itself. If you simply explained the rules to someone, they wouldn't begin to understand what someone who plays the game actually does or has to deal with. Sure there other things about the TCG, but X-Files is soooo much like how competitive play works in this game, it's crazy to not say their related.

Uhh, could you please stay out of this one? I think that for the most part he has several very good points.

He has no good points. Mods please lock this as this is becoming a war over something that is stupid and pointless. This is just becoming Congress in that nothing is being progressed forward.

You already asked a mod to lock, and they didn't. I am fairly certain that if there was something completely wrong with this, it would have already been locked. While I don't support Pidgeotto's argument, this doesn't need to be locked, it is Pidgeotto's opinion on how related Pokemon is to X-Files, no matter how absurd that seems...

That is like me saying, "Mods, please lock this" in a thread that is just players talking about how good a card is. That is their opinion, and they are entitled to it.

well, we let it go for a while.
It was just amazing, actually.
Time to lock, though.
