Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

SC Gym Challenge - Anderson, SC - 6/10/06 (Final Results)

I played two games against Heidi last summer when visiting in Fla. She was running ZRE at the time, I was running a cham variant. She is fast, decisive, and a fearsome player to the core.

hey guys, new update

Miranda C. Won 11->14!! woohoo! (LBS)

Heidi C and Stephen V are both in top 4, both playing baynetteEX. not sure who the other 2 are.

Ryan=I'm not sure about some of your questions, but I know Heidi already asked the upandups and was told she could play all the way if she wanted.

I played Steven in Top 8. I played Tricky Mew-Trick vs. his Banette. I took game 1, and went ahead in game 2, but he came back in game 2 (excellent job!) and then took game 3 easily. I congratulate you, Steven. You're also a cool guy to play.

The other two players were Keith Haas with Burning Liability and another young feller (forgot his name) with LBS.

I had a good amount of fun today. I went into the tournament sick to my stomach. My first two wins were like cheap, t3 wins with nidoqueen and my stomach didn't start to feel better. Then I lost to........OMG....John, Jacob, James, one of those names. Dragonairmaster08 to be exact. My stomach felt a little better. Then I lost again, DONK, to KingGengar, and I was feeling great.

LOL, congrats to everyone who played today. You all did very well.

Thank you to all those that spent their own time to judge and be runners.

Slops - The heat, first round repairings, stomach ache.

Go Delta Queen! (now retired)

Tad won 10-, Miranda C won 11-14 and the 15+ finals were James A (LBS, DragonairMaster8) vs. Steven w/ Banette EX. I got 4th, Heidi conceded to take 3rd. Since Heidi and I have both been asked to Staff Worlds, we were going to let 2 players play it out for the title in T2 anyway. Just shows ya that Judges still know how to play the game too :thump:

IMO, James should win with his nice tech in LBS (I wont spill the beans, he can if he wants). Bernie.....you have done real well w/ your KY crew. James is a VERY nice, polite young man. Glad he traveled over for the event! And he has good family support too, w/ his family to the side watching.

Of course, congrats to Steven also. He is a judge at Regionals, so, T4 had 3 judges (1 being a PTO too) and James. A nice showing by the "noob" judges! LOL

Thx for a fun event Jeff and Toni! You guys ROCK!

Always good to see my friends, especially my paison, John Silvestro. Steven better win sunday or I will beat him up! LOL

btw, james won in 15+, with LBS. they went into the 3rd game & it was a great match to watch, they fought it out till the very end.

gr8 job guys, & congrats to everyone!!!

& thanks toni & jeff 4 everything...

Way to go James!!!!
He seems to have a knack for winning out of state- won last year's trip as a 14 year old in Ohio, now his trip in SC. He has only been 15 for a little while, and this is only his 3rd 15+
tournament (all in the last three weeks!! OH-KY-SC)

We couldn't be happier after how close you came in KY- Celebration party at league!!

Bernie
