1x Zoroark
1x Doduo
1x Dodrio

T/S/S (24)

4x Energy Exchanger

4x Pokemon Communication
3x Professor Elm's New Method

Energy (16)

6x :metal:
4x Special :metal:
3x :lightning:
3x :colorless::colorless:

Start off with Skarmory and Steel Coat energy to bench scyther. Scizor is the Main attacker. Lanturn and Zoroark are techs. Dodrio is another tech for free retreat cost for all my pokemon.

i don't see why people insist on using skarmory with scizor. take out skarmory its a waste of space, its a waste of time and energy drop. scyther is a good enough starter on his own since he is going to be evolving and hitting for 70 damage t-2 anyways. but you insist on running a starter, use cleffa. no energy requirement, free retreat, and annoying to knock out. not to mention nice hand refreshing. other than that it's looks prettyy solid. good job.

No, Skarmory is a very good starter. You drop a basic on it turn 1 while you have Scyther on the bench and you Steel Coat for a Special Metal. Turn two you attach Special Metal to Scyther and then Steel Coat for 2 Energies in the same turn.

Then evolve for best results. Cleffa will just slow the deck down and give you opponent free prizes. Since you're running 2 Twins anyway it's best off to not add in Cleffa. Since Skarmory will most likely always die, giving your opponent the first prize, it's best to have the Twins in there.

I like the list, I've made a Scizor Prime deck (link in my signature) if you would like to check it out and see if you would like to copy anything or get other ideas. But thats not necessary ;D Great job on the deck!

A word of advice though, you will not be able to run this deck when Pokemon Catcher comes out, it's sad I know, but you just will not be able to.

I'd suggest using either shaymin or klinklang for energy movement especially because it keeps the special metal energies in the game. Also I tech in Palkia Dialga legend in My build and it counters emboars real nice. check it out in the signature.

There is no point in running a scizor tank deck right now. Once MAx Potion is released then you can run great of both steelix and scizor tank decks. This would be done with klinklang, blissey prime and max potion. These would both be fast tank decks.

Can you please explain why i need the energy movement for?

If your ran klingklang with blissey prime, you just move the energies to a pokemon with no damage counters in it, so you won't lose the energies by healing with blissey. It's an interesting idea actually.

I've got an idea, it's kinda a "Fortress Deck". Try running Samurott with Scizor. Of course, i'd add 2 defenders, so Samurott will have to be hitten with 180 damage, to be ko'ed.

I agree with above Samurott is a solid beat..... The way it stands magnaboar will eat u and same with any fire based deck even if u have lanturn prime

thats an interesting idea, this isnt meant to be a tank deck that much, i do plan on making a steelix deck though. Ill see what i'll do in the future
