Scolipede Swarm

I dont know, this deck looks...interesting. But, I do see it might having potentional. Like, I could see a combo with crobat prime. Also, I do agree with jirachi/shaymin combo, it seems like it would work. Thats my thought on this....interesting deck that has been posted

Why would you add Crobat? A Pokemon with free retreat like that would only slow down the deck (not to mention that would make 2 stage 2's) Scolipede all the way in this deck with no techs, it makes it more consistent. After testing I can definitely see that this is BDIF.

This deck has the sweet smell of success wafting out from all around it. My nose detects a few X-0 Battle Road victories for you, Rew.

The spicy Scolipede in this recipe adds a flavourful ZING to create a masterful deep dish battle.

Needs more Venipedes, also.

Well I only said possible crobats because crobat would accelerate poison that's all. i might have to try this deck out, i've got a few scolipedes lying around not in use because until now apparently, they've been completely useless

I see five problems to this deck the first is you only have 8 basic pokemon in this case the opponent could get 3 cards or more extra at the beginning of the game which will put you in a bad position, to fix this add some more basics like cleffa or a basic pokemon draw engine like pichu. number two is that if your running candies it's a waste of time to run a 4-4-4 line as you probably will never use the wirlepiede, to fix this I'd run a 4-2-4 line or even a 4-1-4 line with the extra space you can add more basic pokemon. Next your deck is too vulnerable to lostgar or mewgar they will just own you try to run your lines more efficiently or gengar is gonna lost zone every single one of your scolipede.Problem 4 is T1 or T2 decks (like ZPS and Reshiboar) will have the game over before you even get an attacking scolipede out there I don't know how to counter this one sorry :(. the last problem is the most distant and wont happen until the release of EP but the hype is beartic right? so everyone will run beartic right? unless you use switch very constantly and have at least two scolipede ready to go it's an auto-loss hype or no hype and if beartic really does become useful it will make your life miserable, to help with this try pokemon catcher when it comes out to turn the tides.

other than that it's ok, it's a red face powder deck so it will throw the opponent off but the cons outweigh the pros I'm sorry but I think this deck is not a good one :/

Oh... I get it.... I finally realized how completely bos this deck is. You taking this to worlds rew? Your going to sweep all the competition away.

You say that you think this deck is "not a good one" but have you actually ever tried it yet?

have you? the only clear advantage this deck has is it's ability to throw the opponent off guard if zekrom comes in with a T1 bolt strike ( and yes I have played ZPS) he's gonna take at least 3 prizes before a scolipede comes in ready to attack and pokemon reversal will make that hard to do if it gets set up it's a monster but if it doesn't game is over remember zekrom and donphan etc. will be hitting basic pokemon with attacks that will OHKO basics every time......

Oh man, you guys are so right. I'm just trying to keep this amazing deck away from the world because I fear how good it is. I mean, 60 for 3 energy is amazing. And then for 4 I hit for 80! I might go crazy with how broken that is. I mean sure, I don't knock out anything that isn't psychic. And I rely on DCE a lot. And I have 3 retreat. And i'm playing a stage 2 in a stage 1 dominate format. And a well placed catcher or lost remover ruins my day. But yeah, this deck is amazing, you guys sure told me.

Thank you for finally realizing the potential. :)

The truth is....
You cannot trust most of the lists on the Gym. Most of them are garbage.
That being said, every so often there are a few gems, like Fulop's Jumpluff article last year.
This, friends, is one of those gems.

Everybody here says it so cool, so, I will prove it one of those days, wish me luck

Nop, this deck sucks.

Nah, kidding, this deck ROCKS, I mean, its a GREAT play and of course its cheap. Rew, you made the mistake of publishing this deck before worlds.
The only thing I changed was
- 1 Sage training
+1 Shaymin
Works great

Do justice to the song if you're going to have it as your screen name. Sarcastically having an "epiphany" in a Scollipede thread isn't doing anybody or anything any justice!

What sarcasm? I'm just realizing how good doing mediocre damage for way too much energy is a brilliant strategy for winning. And that 3 retreat cost, so good.

sick deck.

first time in gym history have I never suggested any changes...

bravo! :thumb:
