Well number one on Vileplume, no he would not need to play Psychic energy, he could play his Multi and get both effects of the power. Secondly, it is sleep and poision I believe. Not burn. It is not going to benefit this deck much. Stage 2 runs away from consistency. And the tier one thing is a question mark as Umbreon said. It's not the claim you see it to be. So chill.

Hmm.
While I don't really see the usefulness of Azelf Lv.X (IMO, it isn't as "super pwnage" against Leafeon as people say it is), if you play it, have you considered a premier ball, since you now play two different lvXs?

Let's see... Azelf Lvl X is able to count the number of energy your opponent has in play, choose one Pokemon on your opponent's side, and deal 10 for each energy spotted. I think perhaps that is pretty much a ownage snipe against Leafeon. =(

dude you can't call this deck tier 1, it hasn't even won any BRs. I don't care that yoou supposedly tested this deck against other decent dp-on decks. Technically Kingdra can't even be considered Tier 1 because it hasn't seen any BR play yet.

I mean don't get me wrong I think gliscor is amazing but there are SOOOOOOOOO many dex next format it is really anyone's game. We will not know what are the top decks until BRs

ummm since BRs didnt even start, how would you know that tjhis deck wont win any? Thats just an assumed judgement, and gliscor is actually a playable card. its weakness is irrelevent anyway as its usually does damage then gets sent to the bench for a shedinja/mime

Except for the fact that you'll seldom be doing more than 60.

Stage 2 lines really only complicate things. You then have to make the room and waste slots for Rare Candies that'd be better saved for other things.

Leafeon can be dealt with through Azelf LX.

If stage two's complicated things then everyone would be playing only bannette. But the way I saw it at worlds everyone had Gardy, with Gallade, with Dusknoir, and many other stage two techs. granted with that devoluter card stage two play has to be alittle more...careful i guess is the word. but I think using a power like venasaur to disrupt them then using pester for 80 every turn is better than a two turn attack. run that with a tech toxicroak and your sittin pretty.

At first I thought Gliscor was pretty bad, but now after thinking if you play him the right way he is pretty amazing

The point of this list is to never allow your opponent the KO. Uxie lv. X is sooo much better than Azelf. If played right you should almost easily win against Lefeon. When you paralyze you must almost ALWAYS switch out just incase they have something to get out of it. This list I believe is the future.

Erm, I should have worded that better.

In a more speed oriented deck like this, Stage two decks are a little bit risky. You have to consider you're adding an additional 5 cards for just lines alone, in addition to 2-3 Rare Candies. These could be better used for important tools like Pluspowers or TM's, or what have you.

Thats 8 cards right there, almost a 6th of your deck. Usually when you have Stage 2's, you try to stick to them being the main focus of the deck, unless you really have to tech in a 1-0-1 line or something of that sort. Venusaur is good, but realise first that the card is flippy, and that second, its only a tech that really is not required.

IMHO, Venomoth gets that job done better.

While it may beat kingdra, this deck still losses to a well built Luxray.

Admitting that Luxray really wounds the level X, a good build and careful planning should manage to keep up with the powerhouse that is Lux.

I guess. Personally I'd rather stick with something I know. I used Venasaur and wormadam leaf cloak until they did errata and the two venasaur is all you need. Id rather not spread with Gliscor, I think taking that route is not really the best way to use him. Just getting the poison on him then another status and hitting for 80 a turn is how I'd like to do it. Throw in the darkrai that does auto sleep if you miss the flip on venasaur and you could have some fun. But IMHO I dont think gliscor will ever become a very competitive deck. It'd be more a fun type to use at Battle roads than something to be played at worlds. It just doesn't do enough.

Id rather not spread with Gliscor

Theres no spread involved.. the deck is straight hit and run aggro.

The deck has huge potential for BR's, at the least. It may not hit Worlds, but we will see. The deck is in every right almost exactly like Flariados, which noone expected to be huge, but it still did make it big.

I didn't say it won't win any alex, I said that it hasn't yet. I said no deck can be considered tier 1 YET.
The deck has Amazing potencial, but I think it is too soon to say that it is Tier 1.

And I think this deck differs from flariados a lot, flariados was realy fast and this not so much. The deck list umbreon 777 has posted looks really slow and my friend Brian tested it and had pretty bad results, but the deck with the right list can really do well

I have been testing it and liking it (even when I lose). It's quick, clever and as Umbreon777 has pointed out, has lots of options.

Kindra is dead meat
Empoleon is shaky and I believe favors Empoleon. Neither Mime nor Venomoth are a big help against Dual Spalsh. I'm working harder to inflict special conditions with Venonat and Gligar but it is still hard to get rid of the fist Empoleon before the second is setup. Chatot/Warp can really help Empoleon.
GG (+AzelfX and MewtwoX) is about 50/50 But I think that with practice this can improve in favor of Scorpio. On the other hand I thinnk their are opprtunities in LA to mane the GG list better.

Luxray next deck to test

Umbreon thanks for sharing the list.

I *haven't* tested yet, but my theoretical notion is that Empoleon and TurnCruel are probably some of the harder matches. If someone decides to build a deck with Metagross and Unown G ... well that could be a problem too. Groudonk and Armaldo could be iffy as well.

I've yet to test the deck either.

I really want to play this for a tournament we are having before BR's and for BR's, the only bone i know have to pick with this deck is Azelf Lv.X, i get the whole prize peeking thing, and i would keep the Azelf in, but i just don't know why the Lv.X is there, after all (i could be wrong) but even next format, i don't think Leafeon/Sceptile will be that popular, i could be wrong though.

Great list, want to test/play it, and just looks like a load of fun

JMO

Empoleon could be a problem. He could 1hko a benched gliscor waiting 2 b leveled up.

You may b able 2 outspeed it thou
