So, I built a Landorus/Garbador deck, but was having some concerns about Kyurem Plasma. After tweaking it a little. I kinda like this idea, and have began testing it. Any help would be appreciated. I understand Cobalion Ex is a slower pokemon, but if you run him with Garbador you have the ability to slow your opponent down as well. Both my attackers can start attacking with 1 energy. My main attacker will be cobalion, but I do have Landorus for those Darkrai match ups. I use scrap metal since is a metal pokemon and a garbage pokemon :D

Pokemon
3 x Cobalion EX
3 x Trubbish
3 x Garbodor
2 x Landorus EX

Trainer/Supporter/Stadium
4 x Professor Juniper
4 x Ultra Ball
4 x Pokemon Catcher
1 x Scramble Switch - ACE SPEC
4 x Exp. Share
2 x Float Stone
2 x Switch
4 x N
1 x Random Receiver
4 x Hypnotoxic Laser
2 x Virbank City Gym
1 x Colress
1 x Super Rod

Energy
4 x Blend Energy WLFM - Special
7 x Metal Energy - Basic
4 x Fighting Energy - Basic

The amount of Energy you play needs to be decreased - Your supporter count needs to be increased, since only 10 supporting cards means you will start dead drawing throughout or at the start of the game. Skyla would be nice in this deck, so maybe adding in more of them for a lower amount of Energy.

I too played Big Basics last season and updated that deck with Garbodor this season. Several observations:

  • Why play EXP Share? I can easily render it "close to being "useless" (for energy transfer to a benched Poké) by Catchering the Poké with this Tool attached and KO'ing it directly or by poison between turns. Secondly, the Tools should be used for Garbodor; so, a Tool like Rescue Scarf you'll find, IMHO, is better suited for this deck. So, I suggest replacing these with 2 more Float Stones and 2 Rescue Scarf.
  • I've found the combination of 6 Tools (of which 4 are Float stones) and 2 Switch work well together.
  • Depending upon the matchup, you'll find having the Landorus EX or Cobalion EX to be "ideal." But, you may need a way to get the desired basic energy via an Energy Search. So, I'd suggest adding 1 of these.
  • IMHO, the 9 (4 PJ, 4 N, 1 Colress)/1 card draw Supporters/Random Receiver seems "clunky" or inconsistent draw. But given the 4 Ultra Balls and your card draw mix, if it works for you, then roll with it. I personally like 1 Bicycle, 3 Colress, 4 N, 3 PJ for my deck.
  • You've have no Skyla... Any particular reason for this card's omission? Skyla is a great card used in most, if not all the decks I've built and seen. I'd suggest you consider running 2 of these.
So, following are some suggested changes for your consideration:

-1 Pokémon Catcher (or Ht Laser). 3 works for me very nicely - personal preference.
-4 EXP Share.
-1 Random Receiver.
-3 Metal

+1 Energy Search
+2 Float Stone
+2 Rescue Scarf
+2 Skyla
+1 Colress
+1 Max Potion. To provide some healing to your starting Poké that may have taken quite a bit of damage.

By the way, playtest alot against Blastoise; that will be a very tough matchup for this deck despite nullifying Deluge.

I hope you find these comments helpful.

Lastly, nice avatar.

Thanks that is great advice. I always have bad luck with skyla for some reason it comes up at wrong time usually. So my original had rescue scarf I will switch back because I do like it better. I am definitely worried about blastoise but any deck I am worried against blastoise I will keep updated on the new changes
