SE WI Deoxys Prerelease Sat 2/5!

I'm sure it'll be cool- but how many cards you guys making? I already have 16 fake cards and am working on 2 more at the moment... and yes, I will be at this prerelease.
 
Well, the set is 210 cards.

Also, I'm not playing in the side event guys. (HUH!?! Derrick is skipping a tourney!?!?) I'm skipping for a school dance. (Oh... I get it now. He's skipping for girls.) :tongue:
 
Derrick lost 2-1 in the finals against Jessica. Maybe next time! Although assuming you don't go to any CCs anywhere next weekend, you'll be in 15+ next time and have to face all the more competition.

Looking forward to the prerelease. I'll have to see if I can find the time and that to try to make a good 2 vs 2 deck for the side event.

I'm not really back into 'school mode' yet. Have to get myself into the routine of studying and that, kind of feel like I'm still on vacation.

I will once again be giving the winner of each division a WHOLE BOOSTER BOX, provided the division has at least 12 players. This is in addition to the standard prizes!

We had so much fun with the 2 v. 2 Rochester Draft event last week that I will be offering a sanctioned 2 v. 2 Modified Constructed tournament side event.

That's right, this is your chance to test all those cards that were designed with 2 v. 2 in mind! To make it affordable, this side event will cost just $5, and to make it worthwhile, I will be putting 2 packs of Ex: Deoxys into the prize structure for each participant. The top 8 finishers will get prizes, and with 32 players, the side event prizes would look like this:

1st: 18 packs
2nd: 15 packs
3rd: 12 packs
4th: 9 packs
5th: 6 packs
6th: 3 packs
7th: 2 packs
8th: 1 pack

So, I ask you: where else can you have this much fun getting so many packs of the newest set?! :biggrin:

Why does it have to be a card in the current modified format? Alakazam owns and its incredible psychic power will undoubtably be released in the form of a card again sometime soon.

Me: Alakazam, use Psybeam on Jeff's Sneasel now!

LOL on the last post by pokewisconsin. I will be at the Prerelease, of course. I don't have anyone going with me at the moment, but of course that could change- everyone wants to ride in the Funkiest car in IL. (I have a GAPBAND license plate, for those in the know about that group)
 
I'm gonna be there. it's a Saturday, meaning I don't work. Not sure yet if TS Crobatty will be coming along. That'll probably come the week before. STP, plz keep a spot open for me. I'll lyk as soon as I know. Thx.
 
I'm gonna talk to Jas and try to get her to come. I always like having someone to go to Cousins with. :tongue:

Also, I'll be at league on the 2nd. There isn't any CCD or bible study, so I'll be there.
 
2v2... Time to start taking advantage of the rules of that thing.
 
I'll have to try to find time to throw a deck together this weekend. Been busy with classes and homework and actually sticking with my workouts for a change. Gotta get buff for the ladies :thumb:
