Hello all........

Please ignore all other posts regarding this subject….It has been a real challenge getting these dates finalized due to WOTC and the card shop store closures………

Here are the Seattle area City Championship events Pokemon players have been waiting for.....

The previous Feb 7, 2004 City Championship in Federal Way has been changed to March 27, 2004 due to the sports card store closing.

Please note that the Renton City championship has moved to Feb 7, 2004……….

Playing Location is located on the east end of the Sea Tac Mall
Capacity 50+

The format will be Modified Constructed. Bring your 60 card deck to play in an age modified swiss match style. There will be a minimum of 4 rounds. Total number of rounds depends on number of participants. Cards from Expedition- on and Nintendo/PUI Promo cards are allowed. Team Magma and Team Aqua Cards sets released after the City Championships have started Feb 1, 2004 will not be allowed to be used in the City Championship events.

Prizes:
Prizes are awarded to each of the three recognized POP age categories, 10 and under, 11-14 and 15+.
Prizes include EX Dragon booster packs and City Champion award Medals.

The Prize package for the City Championship is as follows for each age group:
1st place: 1 Display of Pokémon-e TCG Booster Packs (36 packs)
2nd place: ½ Display of Pokémon-e TCG Booster Packs (18 packs)
3rd & 4th place: ¼ Display of Pokémon-e TCG Booster Packs (9 packs)

There will be a VIP pack awarded to the winners in each age group if more than 8 player show up for the event. Each winner will receive a VIP package of exclusive merchandise when they register at their local State Championship in April. City Champions receive a first round bye at their local State Championships.

Other prizes may be given out at each location per the discretion of the TO. These can include gift certificates, booster packs, promo cards, holo cards, oversize promo cards, posters, Ex Series Collectors Tin, etc.
