Second try at Kingdra, Needs serious help...

Drawers do work, they're very valuable for getting that donk! Yet they don't always honestly. Also, about the Luxury Ball argument, 1 is better. Why that is is because if you use two and you play one, you have a useless card, and that's no good.

Once you use the first Luxury Ball, then you can discard the other one(s) with Kingdra when you draw into it.

Dude, I really gotta try Kingdra out. I have 4 Kingdras and only 1 Horsea... for now.
 
Well, I guess it depends on whether you have room and your play style. "Would I play multiples for a chance to get to it faster?" That sort of thing...
 
If I keep damaging the Pokemon that already had damage on when Nidoqueen hits the field that effect is 100% wiped out. Lets face it Nidoqueen makes Kingdra not two shot stuff making it alot worse. Dusknoir is needed. Simples.


with poison the heal doesn't work on the active (skuntank g) and if you keep targeting the same bench pokemon, it won't heal (just not get any new damage) and even without poison (80-20)*2=120 that with one crobat drop is a 2HKO
 
Ow, really? And I know the 2 lux ball trick, but 1 works equally as good as 2.

:eek: Every good Kingdra deck plays at least 2 Luxury Ball. Think your chances of getting it are x2. X2! Think of the feeling when you pluck one into your hand. 2 works SO much better. And how many times have you had to discard good stuff? But if you play more of certain cards it just helps in so many ways.
 
If you're playing dusknoir you should run blowers. If you're running nidoqueen then you should run drawers. Plain and simple. You only need the one bat in kingdra honestly. up the roseanne's to 4. try and squeeze in one or two more waters. I'm still experimenting with Expert belt to be honest, but in something like speed kingdra it doesn't seem like you'd need it. You just come out swinging for 60 all day.

Same case senario, add in Expert Belt and you'll be doing 60/0 all day. Wouldn't you like to do more damage, especially with a now easily searchable tool? If you can get their Nidoqueen active, you can be sure you'll 2HKO it. Heck, you'll at least 2HKO everything, especially with PlusPowers and Crobat G in the mix.

yeah, I jsut worry about vire X with the release of all these tools. Could see a comeback.

Why run Blowers when Luxray GL Lv X 1-1 line for the space of 2 more cards nets you 3 more gusts? Besides Warp Point works nicely anyway. Drawers are medicore in Kingdra, and I have no idea why people run them and ignore important Kingdra staples.
 
if i add amphiros instead of dusknoir, Nidoqueen would ruin its use... Sure u could use it that turn i guess, but if u dont discard then dang... lol

Your current Kingdra list looks like a solid build. Have you thought about playing Luxray LV.X in this deck? Also, with everyone playing tools these days, how about a patchrisu? And finally, don't you think call energy would help?

Call Energy is bad in Kingdra. If it could play 4 and still be able to attack it would be basicly BDIF or close to it.
 
Switch dusknoir & 1-0-1 kingsdra for 3-1 Palkia G lVX.
They are more funny and can help for make your bench less for Uxie & crobat.
They can also be a good attacker, and if they are KO, you can recycle the energys with kingsdra.

1 Rare candy for 1 BTS and 2 expert belt for 2 water enegry, and drop the super scoop up, and add 1 azelf and 3 felicitys drawing.

I think this can help you, because 1 of my friends play a sort a like deck on the Belgium championship, and become 4the (but hes opponent has great luck :biggrin: )

:eek: *Rubs Eyes* not to be rude but I wouldn't do any of these changes. You can play 7 Water energy. SSU makes ALOT of Kingdra. The whole 'Discard energy' Kingdra is down the drain. It's more focused on Speed now. Dusknoir is needed in Kingdra for Queen. And 3 Horsea and Kingdra...? Palkia without SP support too? If you DID like Palkia it should only be a 1-1. Palkia without Mesprit, Power Spray and Energy Gain. Bench space isn't a problemo in Kingdra.

Kingdra Active, Kingdra benched, Dusknoir benched, Uxie/Claydol Benched, Uxie/Claydol benched, Crobat G. Palkia takes *Speed* out of Kingdra.
 
Yes, there's lots of techs that could go in Kingdra, but Palkia G lv.X is not one of 'em.

Aside from that, you're taking out valuable components for a Kingdra deck, notably being a 4th kingdra, SSU, and Expert Belt.

Dusknoir, I will say once more, isn't 100% necessary. They know you have it, they'll limit their bench and include Queen...
 
Yes it's still a pain for them though. 2 Bench Pokemon? Puts you at a great advantage. Flygon has a rubbish Power Swing. It wins Beedrill aswell.
