Sevierville, TN CC Dec 30, 2006!!

Only 3 days to go. To add to the fun I will be running a booster draft after the swiss rounds are over. See below for details. This will be limited to the first 12 players. This was a hit at our Cary CC. I recommend signing up before the CC starts. If you make the top cut we can cross you off the list. Can't wait to see everyone on Sat!!!

Booster Draft (5 booster packs of Dragon Frontiers) - $15
1st Place - 7 packs + choice of Professor Notebook or Card Box
2nd Place - 3 packs + what 1st place doesn't choose
3rd Place - 2 packs

Sounds very cool .....THX JEFF!! This is shaping up to be a great event! Lots to play for...valuable points for Worlds rankings......lots of giveaways (I hope to be able to have everyone walk out with something....depends on the numbers).....free drinks & snacks (while supplies last)....WOW...I cant wait! (well....I guess I have to LOL)

I have everything except the drinks for tomorrow. Food City, here I come in the morning! Everyone travel safely on the way here! I know NC will be well represented, but will there be any other invaders??

Just a few hours to go until the event that closes out the year... This should be a heck of a tournament if my guess is right.

:D It was great to attend an event like this again. I enjoyed myself and had a blast. While I didn't do to well in the main event (1 and 3; *tears*), but I did get some good trades in that I wanted. I may have gotten the worst end of the stick in value wise with the trades, but I got what I wanted, and the opposed got what he / she wanted, so we were both happy. Isn't that what trading's all about?

I did do alright during the Booster Draft side event. Going 2-1 on that was fun. If only I didn't have to deal with that darn Dragonite ex δ. *shake-fist* Next time, just wait till next time.

As always, the event moved along nicely, and the giveaways were above average. The stuffed Poke's, the DS Game, etc. were all nice to see. Thanks to everyone for making this a fun experience for me and for everyone else to play at. And here is looking forward to many more to come.

A few props. Props to the Reynolds family, Keith, and Kay, for coming out and running this fantastic tournament. Working even on the last day of the year.

Props to Matt K for winning his 5th City Championship (in a row).

Props to Spencer for proving that ludi isn't dead. lol

Props to Tracy R. for another top placing in the 10-, another Reynolds in the making, people watch out.

Props to Mike R. for his great showing, and to Victor P. for his win in the 15+.

It was nice seeing everyone again. Nick :)P), Spencer, Austin, TJ, Matt K., Matt G., Keith, Alex, and all my other TN buddies.
