if you have a shiny pokemon like a shiny drifloon on your bench, and you want to evolve it, can you evolve a shiny pokemon into a pokemon that isn't shiny? like for example, you ahve a shiny drifloon on your bench, and you have a drifblim in your hand, can you evolve that shiny drifloon into a non-shiny drifblim?

Evolution goes by the name in the "evolves from" area.
Drifloon is named "Drifloon".
People just call it "Drifloon shiny" or "shiny Drifloon" for ease of identifcation, but Drifblim just cares about it's official, printed name.
So, evolve away.
