Fast and consistent. Though I lost the series 2-3, I felt I had the better deck. I expected Kyle's Gothitelle/Reuniclus deck to get overwhelmed by early Catchers, but that rarely happened. Remember, there's no Rare Candy, no Twins, no Tropical Beach.

Deck was good, imo. One embarrassing moment for me is when I realized Celebi's Time Crisis attack prevented damage done to it from
evolved Pokémon, not basics. I got mixed up and thought it prevented effects from basic Pokémon, which would dominate a format where it's difficult to get evolutions into play. Oops! Game 1 was my Hoppip getting Mischievous Punched for a Turn 1 loss. Game 2 was the only close game where a crucial Pokémon Catcher KO'd a Servine a turn away from evolving into Serperior. Game 3 I was ran over, and lost 0-3.

You'll notice the deck runs so few Pokémon I actually don't run 4 Pokémon Communication. Super Rod was just kind of extra insurance against Kyle's Durant obsession. Looking through the card pool, I came to the conclusion that all viable decks would be running Double Colorless Energy. Knowing Kyle is smart and would come to the same conclusion, I decided to add two Lost Remover.
