Silver Mirror on the Bench

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but I just want to make sure.

My opponent has a Pokemon with a Silver Mirror attached to it. I use Frost Spear with Plasma Kyurem. Can I put the 30 damage onto the Pokemon with the Silver Mirror? Would the same thing apply to the 20 damage from Genesect's Megalo Cannon?

Silver Mirror blocks damage from Team Plasma Pokemon.
It is not like Weakness and Resistance. It also works on the bench.
