dont know what he did. that was the morning of regionals trying to sleeve our decks. havent asked since
Have you forwarded the URL of this topic to TPCi? As a moderator and proponent, I'd think that would be a natural thing to do.did they contact OP about the issue?
'mom
They're better than the Garchomp ones, but not as good as Rotom, and nowhere near as good as Lucario.
Still, if you're going to play in a "big" tournament, you're best off sticking with KMC or Player's Choice. These sleeves are nice, I love the style, but I'm not sure they'll hold up for too long.
As a fellow Professor, I don't think this is the appropriate venue to air your grievances.
yes, i actually have; thanks for the concern.Have you forwarded the URL of this topic to TPCi? As a moderator and proponent, I'd think that would be a natural thing to do.
When professors voice their grievances publically here, TPCi finds out. Hopefully, TPCi reads threads like this not merely to look for professors who speak out negatively, but considers these topics for what's going well and for future self-improvements.

i firmly believe that the responsibility should be with the person who has the issue with the sleeves to contact OP directly about it. why post here when that same effort needed to post could be used to craft an email to OP and/or customer service...the people who could actually DO something about it like perhaps offer to replace the defective sleeves?
considering how busy the OP team is with both VGC and BRSp and Nats soon approaching, imho it's unrealistic to assume they will happen upon this or any other thread while reading the 'gym in their likely nonexistent spare time at work.
tl; dr...if you have an issue, contact TPCi directly before, if not instead of posting about it here. after all, they're the folks who can actually DO something about it...

um, my issue with people bringing it here is not 'keeping it secret', but how people think bringing it here is a SUBSTITUTE for contacting TPCi directly. What's the point in having a forum to discuss things if we're told NOT to discuss them publicly, but to keep it in secret and just tell POP?
Is it too big of a deal for any type of failure to be made public? Are we not allowed to publicly speak out as players about quality control? Why is it that for the who knows how many times now, we're told, "You shouldn't be posting about it here, but bringing it up with them directly...." If you give us a forum to discuss all things pokemon, LET US DISCUSS ALL THINGS POKEMON. It's really quite simple, and we shouldn't have to all mass email POP about the quality of prerelease sleeves. It's been going on since Supreme Victors and I think it just has to do with the batch of sleeves for a few sets (like how Gigas through Rotom were all awesome and similar style).
While 'Mom does actually forward us things like this at times, her willingness to do so is not a substitute for people contacting us directly to let us know about issues. Reminding people to be sure and contact us if they need is a good thing because player feedback is important to us.Have you forwarded the URL of this topic to TPCi? 'Mom telling folks to be sure to contact us directly if there are issues is different than Pokemon Trainer Mikko reminding FunnyBear about the Professor Core Values. You can look at TPCi employee post histories to see that we address far more than just Professor issues when posting here Steve.Hopefully, TPCi reads threads like this not merely to look for professors who speak out negatively, but considers these topics for what's going well and for future self-improvements.
@PokeMom:
Public discussion to a perceived problem often gets more attention from corporations than private emails. Although professors and organizers have been admonished to speak privately about such matters, the player-base is under no such caution. Therefore, I'd think TPCi would actually welcome (maybe even prefer) open discussions, critiques, and recommendations from the "public" about their products.
In our spam-filled electronic age, people have come to realize that public bulletin boards like this often get more results than private emails to an overloaded mailbox.
I also want to chime in that it was a LOT harder for me to even find the contact us link on the new website. It's easy to say contact TPCi directly but unfortunately it's a bit harder than it used to be.
I eventually found that link after about 15 minutes of looking.
What I really wonder is, why did they change after the Lucario sleeves were absolutly perfect? Why not just stick to them?
