Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

small but strong team?!

Same Type Attack Bonus. If your Pokemon's type (or one of its types) is the same as the move you're using, the damage is multiplied by 1.5. Some people have said, incorrectly, that a two-type Pokemon only gets a 1.25 multiplier.

What do you mean? In both posts, I said that STAB is 1.5 even if it's a two-typed Pokemon. I said some people said it, incorrectly.

As far as training, in your otehr post... If you want, use EXP Share for Slakings exp, you may be better off. Against other trainers, against elite 4, and get friends with Pokemon you can slaughter in their bases. Defeating trainers Pokemon gets you more exp than wild ones...... and the money dont hurt either

As far as Slaking goes, if you want to keep him, he can learn Shadow Ball, keep Hyper Beam, max PP on it especially, Earthquake and Rest to finish him off (I think rest is better since you have to forfit a turn anyways, what 1 more, plus negates staus's placed on him as well)

This is a sort of out of topic question but, how many posts do i have to get 4 and 5 pages? ive been in the RTC an there is a post there that has 4 hundred sum replies and only 6 pages? can somebody answer this ?

ok, i got rid of slaking for claydol then i got rid of claydol for grumpig. it is level 43 now and it knows rest, snore, psychic, and bounce. heres the rest of my team
name/level/attacks

Grumpig/43/rest, snore, psychic, bounce
i like his moveset

Roselia/52/cut, sludge bomb, petal dance, toxic
this is a final moveset... unless someone can figure a non-grass/poison move for cut

Wailord/53/surf, facade, water spout, ice beam
i dont know what to teach him for facade. any ideas?

Salamence/53/earthquake, dragon claw, crunch, fly

Groudon/53/slash, earthquake, fire blast, rest

Blaziken/53/slash, mirror move, blaze kick, brick break

my team has grown a lot since i last posted it. if you like this team say yay. if you dont say nay. if you think you can beat the team you helped create say yahoo!

No Bashing Stud! You're new here, so I'm sure the mods'll give ya a break, but if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Oh and posting twice in a row is considered spamming. It'll get you in big trouble! Watch what you say next time, okay?

Or to combo with Toxic, try Protect..... Roselia's stats are so so, but if you Toxic, Protect, Attack, Protect, repeat, could be already. It will have some problems with Metal Pokemon especially, but hopefully you still have Blazekin.....

Water Spout or Surf, I would choose Water Spout, for something else... you dont need 2 water moves on him..... Defenitely Rest for Facade

Groudon, maybe Flamethrower for Fire Blast. Usually accuracy and more PP will beat out pure power, his Sp At is weak, but Sunny Day will boost it anyways.
Bulk Up (he learns it naturally), Return, Earthquake, Rest is best overall, pretty much. Abuse his high attack score, that is what it is there for

Salamance Fly for Aerial Ace....

Return for Slash on Blazekin (assuming you are spending lots of time with it, Return should be better than Slash (except for better Critical Hits)

not sure on Grumpig.... but not sure on Bounce......... more later

I did something simmilar with curse. I had: Curse/shadow punch/mean look/protect. If you are doing to do a combo with toxic, you might want to have a wobbufet in there (for its abilitiy.).
And BTW, rest is GREAT. It will really help you out and it is sure to angry ur oppoment.
I agree with spectreon on the Groundon movelist, fire attacks wont help you. You will get Sunny day, but thats not that much better.
Return, at its best, WILL do more then a slash critical hit.

ok, im about to reset my game so, why dont you guys just list a new team. this time i want swampert, camperumpt, vileplume, magneton, scarmory/alteria, herrcross/medacham. that gives me water, ground, grass fire, poison, steel electric, flying, dragon/bug/psychic(all 3 maybe) and fighiting. which of the choices should i choose and what should be thier movesets? if not this team, then what should i choose. must have mudkips evolution line.

Swampert???

How bout.....
Curse (you will need to breed a new one)
Earthquake
Return
Rest

for in game, and beofer you breed, change Curse for Surf

Vileplume I think was mentioned way back, so I will skip

My fave Camarupt moveset...
Flamethrower
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Body Slam

It will also have to be bred. Body Slam will cause paralysis, which helps out, and increases Rock Slides usefullness

Magneton??? I would say Manetrike for an electric.. dont know agout Magneton....

Altaria over Skarmory....
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Rest

Heracross over Medicham.... I just dont like him much...

Megahorn
Brick Breack
Bulk Up
Rest

how bout hat for starters???

ok, i thought about it and i will go with most of these pokemon and moves and this is what i have now and what i will go with in the future.
what i have now:
marshstomp/18/
tackle
mud shot
bide
water gun

this is what i plan to have
Swampert/
Earthquake
surf
return
rest
i will go with this moveset unless i get a better move along her evolution, then i will get rid of rest for that move.

Camperumpt/
Earthquake/eruption
rock slide
flamethrower
rock smash
this looks like a good moveset

Belossom/
petal dance
sludge bomb
sleep powder/stun spore
cut
I think that i will go with Belossom, just because its and Vileplumes moveset lines are basically the same. the only differences are, one is poison, and one learns solarbeam at level 50.

Magnectric/
Thunder
rain dance
bite
flash
I think youre right about magneton

Medacham/
psychic
shadow bal
high jump kick
strength
i like medicham better.

Skarmory/
steel wing
fly
aerial ace
name something
i want skarmory because i have never raised one in this game before
