Snorlax lvl X + Xatu (SW)= Profit?

I think that a 1-1 Xatu tech would help the Snorlax Lvl X/Darkrai G deck.

Use Snorlax's power and pass the condition over to the defending pokemon

Thoughts?

It is a solid combo and provides the Snorlax deck some much needed resistance to fighting type and add to that Machamp and lucario are weak to Xatu. It is also nice if you can swing Wigglytuff in to the deck so you can always wake yourself up.

Wiggly/Xatu is a decent combo in any deck with the space. But an active Snorlax LvX puts himself to sleep, so you dont really need the Wiggly.

But Snorlax's best asset is his ability to attack while asleep...why wouldn't you play Wiggly over Xatu?

cause you want to use his power to put him to sleep ^_- If you run Xatu, you can wake him up, use his power to put him back to sleep, then attack. Wigglytuff can be cool, but Xatu does it better imo.

Wiggly>Xatu

First off, if you play Snorlax, play the common one form RR, it likes to be Asleep.

So if you want to be Asleep, use Wiggly to make both active's sleep

Stack up a pile of Darkria SP on your bench to really punish your opponent for a bad coin flip. As long as you name is not Zangoose it is a huge amount of damage.

A power than be used ONCE a turn. So if you sleep, then move it....you can't go back to sleep. And the only other deck using conditions is Toxitank, which is going to 2HKO you regardless.

If you have Wigglytuff + Darkrai G benched and Snorlax active, would you put damage first before or after the sleep check in between turns?

Well the thing is, you have 2 different ways to sleep with Snorlax

When I think of play Snorlax, my ideal setup is...

Active:
Snorlax Lv.X (Common RR Snorlax underneath)

Bench:
Darkrai Gx3
Claydol
Wigglytuff

Therefore, you can use Wigglytuff to put both to sleep, however if that doesn't work out, you can still use Snorlax Lv.X's power to at least put yourself to sleep

If you A. Stay asleep between the two turns (and who hasnt flipped tails twice in a row?) or B. Are using Wigglytuff,, then you will already be asleep w/o using the power.

this deck has this ideal set up. bar none

active:
snorlax lv x (with the common snorlax)

bench:
2 darkrai g
wiggly tuff
xatu
another snorlax building up

you use snorlax lv x's power to refresh your hand/drawing power. that puts snorlax to sleep, then you use wigglytuff to put your enemy to sleep, then attack. xatu is there to wake snorlax up at the begining of your next turn so you can use his power again, then you use wiggly to ensure the defending pokemon is asleep again, then rinse and repeat. this deck needs both xatu and wigglytuff. Without both this deck will fail.
