I've always liked Ceilio's more then Bebe's. Besides, I usually can Cosmic Power, especially near the end, when I hopefully have two Claydol up. Also, I don't want to get rid of a card in my hand, because they all could be important.

Just because it is the same Pokemon doesn't mean it is the same deck.
This deck is WAY different, with different strategies.
Plus, no Holon Ebgine anymore.
 
YoYofsho16 - Yes, I know. BUT, same name, same Pokemon. So, will it live up to how good the old one was? That's what I mean.

nice deck, lacks disruption which is what you want with empoleon, not to mention cardsthatflow with Claydol. IMO of course

Mewoxys666 - I'm going more for speed then disruption. I never need Bebe's to make Claydol more effective, either I have too many cards in my hand for Claydol (yes, even with Bebe's) or enough. 4 Empoleon is important. 2 Phione is enough, because Piplup is also a pretty good starter. I already have 1 TSD, 1 NM, I don't need 2 NM, 1 TSD. Master Ball is just... bad. I don't like it at all here, especially without the Fishing Engine.

PokePockets - I think MD Empoloen is much better then the Lv.X or the DP one. Brine on DP Prinplup is a little like DP Empoleon's main move, so...

Flygon999 - 2 Phiones are all that's needed. Piplup is also a pretty good start anyway. And Berry Piplup actually helps in spreading, unlike the other MD one, AKA the DP one.

Everyone - I've taken out a Water for a Scramble.

gd build and article, but wont u think 4 Roseanne's is too much??? u have call energy already........i will take one out and then put one more strength charm........
 
Red Haired Shanks - MD Empoleon is much better then DP. I've told PokePockets already. And give me a good reason to play Gyarados. It has NO synergy with Empoleon, other then being Water.

Tc19930815 - Thanks! I MIGHT take out a Roseanne's and something else for a tech... but 4 Roseanne's is consistent. I might do it though...

Edwarpy - I was thinking of Mismagius too. It would REALLY give Gardevoir a reason to keep even on Prizes, till the last one. BUT, what to take out? I was also thinking of a 1-0-1 Infernape MD. Scramble one, send it up against anything for a KO. If I do add in these techs, though, I'd also probally add in 1 Holon's Castform. So, what to take out?

Hm. Suicune for TSD. Helps with second attack, yes, and is searchable. And no flips. But, can't get back Claydol. That's it, really. I guess I'll do that. Thanks, Blazing Monkey!

ummmm, Dragon Dna. Pretend Gyarados took 100 damage, he can do 130 damage with the poke-body and of course he can do any attack from it's previous stage. With 30 more to it.
 
I know, It costs 2 prizes when knocked out, and you'll probably never attack with it. but Absol ex (PK) is game changing. take a prize, use that card on your turn, or take out a new ralts/Chimchar/Piplup/Baltoy/Gible/Bronzor/whatever other basic with Absol and a Dual Splash. Just be careful when using it against other spread decks.
 
Red Haired Shanks - I know what Gyarados does. I've played it before, and I like it, BUT, how does it help Empoleon? It doesn't help spread, it's not a staple like Claydol, and it isn't your ideal Starter. And, like Sar86 said, it get pwned by Dual Splash.

Pokmeman - Yeah, Absol EX is good. BUT, I don't know. A simple Dual Splash followed up by Hydro Impact = 2 Prizes. And it's even worst against Magmortar Lv.X. Flame Bluster = 2 Prizes. That's tough. I'm currently using it in EmpoZong Tech (along with the worst tech anyone's ever though of in Empoleon, Kyogre EX CG), and it's okay. I've put it to good use. I can probally add that, but any idea what to take out for it, Holon's Castform, and a 1-0-1 tech of Infernape MD OR a 1-1 Mismagius tech?

Hm... I do like Cessation... but, yeah, I guess two is all that's needed. I'll update once I decide which tech to run.

Okay, everyone, I'm probally going to play this at the LCQ. I'll update here if I play it to tell everyone how it did, and if it was a success or not. I might play BanBliss, or Eeveelutions or PLOX, or some other varient of Empoleon, but so far, this has the highest chance of being played.
