The reason I made this decklist is the new Eevee from Furious fists. It is just a really neat ability, and I wanted to make a good deck based on it. The only really good eeveelutions is the plasma one's, and I found that the Espeon is quite interesting.
The first attack is nice if you are left with a dead hand, and it is simular to Lucario EXs two-energy attack. The secound attack is the one I am going to use the most. With some Deoxys in play, muscle band, and maybe laserbank, it suddenly becomes quite powerful. Also the possibility to snipe the bench for weakness is really nice since Garbodor is weak to psycic.
The main strategy of this deck is to be one step ahead of your opponent, and hit big numbers for few energy. With this deck you would like to go secound, which you can always do unless your opponent wins the flip, and wants you to go first (this does not happen very often). With Eevee's ability, you can evolve into espeon just by attaching an psycic energy to it (it also works turn one, and the turn you play eevee). Then you maximize the damage output with deoxys, muscle band, and laser/bank. This will allow you to hit any benched pokemon for 40 (+weakness and resistance), or to hit the active pokemon with 40-90 damage + 10 or 30 more with laser/bank.
Espeon is always your main attacker, and you want to set up Dusknoir as fast as you can, to conserve damage, and manipulate it. Deoxys EX is a nice backup-attacker, which can hit pokemon like Mewtwo EX, Lucario EX or other psychic-weak pokemon, for big numbers with a plasma energy. I also added one Leafeon to counter Toad to some degree.
I dont want to explain every trainer card in here, so just ask if you find some of them strange choises
Here is the list that I have come up with so far:
Pokemon: 17
4 Eevee (XY3)
3 Espeon (PF)
1 Leafeon (PF)
1 Flareon (PF)
3 Deoxys EX (PF)
2-1-2 Dusknoir (BC)
Energy: 8
6 Psycic
2 Plasma
Trainers: 35
3 Juniper
4 N
3 Skyla
2 Colress
1 Pokemon fan club
1 Lysandre
2 Ultra ball
2 Team plasma ball
4 Hypnotoxic laser
2 Rare candy
1 Professors letter
1 Sacred ash
2 Switch
1 Energy retrieval
1 Dowsing machine
3 Muscle band
2 VCG
I have not tested it out much yet, but I want to hear from some other players... Do you think this deck has potential? Personally, I think it may be a bit too weak late-game, but with smart plays, and Dusknoir, I think it may have potential as a red face paint deck.
Also, is there any improvements you can suggest?
