you know beedrill's raid doesn't work when you start with it right? in this case you want a crobat g start so that you can play beedrill g from hand that turn attach energy w/ belt and hit for 60+

Yes, he knows. That's why he runs other pokemon aside from Beedrill G. So anyway, don't use PGX as an attacker. Hydro shot is too expensive for this deck IMO. Also, Banette is a bad Mewtwo counter. Ditch it for a 1-1 Ninetales MT and ditch the psychic and 3 waters for 3 fires and an Unown G for Machamp.

thx for the posts guys

tehmoe: yeah i realized that i usually start with crobat anyway

FJM: I don't ever hydro shot w/PGX unless needed, but banette also discards uneeded cards from my hand/and shuppet can donk easily, +unown g would slow down the deck but thx anyway

I tried this deck at a Cities this weekend with one change - I couldn't find my Promocroak so I ran the other Toxicroak G. That was a good call because it kept me very close in a match-up with a Machamp deck. I finished 2-2 for the day and one of the wins was a bye but I do like the deck and will probably make some tweaks and try it out league. I have to say that I agree that it needs at least 1 unown G. And I had absolutely no draw in my first game which is why I lost - so I think I'll tweak the supporters some. I beat a Gengar deck but only because I had a fast setup and my opponent did not. If she had gotten a Gengar attacking with 60 on all the power Pokes I would have had lots of trouble. I did not use Bronzong once. The only thing that really needs lots of energy is Palkia's Hydro Shot which as you mentioned is rarely used and I usually did not want to move it off the Bee before turning it so I could reattach to attack that turn. I can see it being nice before Lost Cycloing a damaged Poke but I could never get it working. I'm sure I made many misplays though so I'll keep it in for now. Against Machamp I used Skuntank to Poison and the Toxicroak to stall and attack so more psychic is needed. I did not use Call Energy's special ability at all so I think I will change a few of those to SP Energy. Four Crobats does seem like a lot but as has been stated it is a nice starter with free retreat and I won the Gengar match-up by playing 3 'bats on my bench and used a turn to replay one before attacking with Pearl Breath for a double knock-out and my last two prizes.
