Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

St. Louis, Missouri Regionals

Hey guys, you're forgetting Quickitune...
Anyway, yeah, G&G and Mortar will be running a'Muk' (intending a pun) at Regionals. I still can't choose which to play between the 2!
 
Regionals

Exactly 8 days until I head for the St.Louie Arches. Looking forward to whats sure to be a jam packed event with players I have known for years and others that I will meet for the 1st time. The events planned will surely out match anything else that will be going on anywhere else through out the states.
I mean where else can you get Pokemon and cake walks, pokemon dodge ball all in 1 day and 1 location.
Hope the welcoming crew will be there to meet and greet on Weds night. Don't go over board with the stretch Hummer I have been hearing about, a regular limo will be fine. I also have no problem if someone feels the need to wine and dine me upon my arrival.
 
Vince's magical world tour....I will be at the following leagues and at the following locations...

Wednesday April 2nd...B & B St. Peters

Friday April 4th... Animagination South County

Saturday April 5th... Animagination Mills 12-2
Saturday April 5th... B&B Eureka 3-5 (How to play class)

Sunday April 6th... Fantasy Books - Belleville, IL

Monday April 7th... B&B Eureka evening league

Tuesday April 8th... Fantasy Games O'Fallon, IL

Wednesday April 9th ... B&B Eureka

Thursday April 10th ... TBA - Maybe at the Animagination Store at the Mills

Friday April 11th ... Staff meeting (for all in town at that time) at the Mills location

Saturday April 12th... at the EVENT!

Through April 10th, I will be bringing along my box of extras and traders to help ALL players who want help to make the best decks we can make.

You have to have the major pieces, but if you need some basics, or a trainer or two, we could find a way to help you out!

Well, would you like to tell my mom or my dad that??

My dad drove me to Nashville for States, and my mom can't drive more then 3 miles out of state (if that far).....

UNLESS!!!!!!! You can drive me, my brother, and my mom!!!!! Then I can come and PWN Kristi again!!:lol::lol:

Either get a ride, or get jealous hearing about this event from everyone else who did...

And now...let's go on to the next Special Event...

The Trivia Contest!!!

You have seen me do these before...

You get a sheet of 15 or so Pokemon Questions...

You have to answer/guess at them all.

If you get them ALL right, you could be in a 3 question playoff for the title. (We always end up in a Playoff)

Multiple Prizes over multiple age groups here!

The questions are limited to - Card Trivia (all sets)...Cartoon Show Trivia (yeah, you watch it!)...Pokemon Movie Trivia (some of my favorite moments!!)...Pokemon "Worlds" History (which begins in 2004 in my book)...Pokemon Champions...Pokemon Badges...(Sorry, no video game questions...those are too tough with all the SHARKED games around)

The CONCRETE SQUIRTLE from the Fan Appreciation Tourney in 2002 will be making an appearance at the Regional too!!!

Is it REALLY only 10 days away???

Bull ****!!! Your luck gets on my nerves!!!!! Don't get over-confident. If I have to play you, the outcome will be unpredictable because your deck is good even in the hands of a n00b!!! We'll just have to see... but you are NOT going to ruin my shot at worlds or i will @#%^@@$^&*((^^ you!!!

*Mutters under breath* Stupid wagers always at the critical moment when you don't even know what's in my hand!

As for Vince's post, do you think that there might be some Krekler kids wanting to practice friday night? I can't wait for the trivia.

But I think my deck (which is the same as your's BTW) needs a little more of a skillful player behind it to beat you. Just because a n00b can run the deck doesn't mean a n00b can beat the playa!

^Thanks for the back-handed compliment I think... You don't completely suck at pokemon either. Just make your deck as CONSISTANT as possible-and then worry about techs and stuff.

As for the "I know what Sam's running" statement, I don't even know what I'm running until the day of- I've already filled out 2 decklists.

On a different note, I always like to make my own rankings up per state, and I'm wondering who takes slot #4 in Missouri...
It's obvious Trinity (Jake, Bela, Colin) are in the top 3 but I don't feel like starting an argument and ordering us, just wondering who #4 is...

Kason, you've shown a lot of promise, but I'm not sure how much to weigh your state win in this, you've essentially dodged Trinity throughout your entire career except a game with me (that I've won) which I'll call illegit because we were both using bad decks. Either way, I'd like to point out Bela did amazingly well his 'break-through' year (and continues to do so) as well and it seems uncanny how parallel this is. Regardless, I welcome your addition to the top 4 of the state as it was getting pretty stale and I'm sure you'll raise our state's legitimacy that much more. Kinda sad you live so far away and I only get to play you so many times a year.
