OK, now that the STL Regionals is over, I have the duty to thank everyone for making it a huge and successful event.

First, the players. You all are the class of the game. I did not hear of one player getting out of line, disrespecting an opponent, a staff member, a crumb on the floor.

There was not one incident I was aware of where people had items stolen. There were items lost, left on tables, and the like, but they were recovered by their owners. WOW.

Gotta start at the top. Denise - God Bless Ya for putting up with me....you really made this event Rock. You made my life easy on so many levels, and having you as a full part of the Regionals team this year, WOW, so much easier. Mike/Mia - now I have a teammate to make my life rock!!

Then to my right hand - Clay Mitchell. Perfect event. You handled the staff, the players, the mall walkers, the sword fighters, the movie goers, the everything. You kept the event going, and kept it going strong! Always a pleasure.

Ray from Sedalia. Nothing better than working with someone who knows me, and knows that we are always on the same page. 5 stars dude. To keep that big of a group of masters in line...WOW.

Copper - Oh, copper. I really think you have come a LONG WAY baby. This was an event that you showed your stripes, and stepped up and rocked it out. Worried about how many pres you are going to judge? How about how many pres you are going to RUN!!!

Tino Vi - Talk about stepping up and hitting it out of the park!!! You may have had the most touchy issues of the day, and you handled them with the maturity and class that amazes me every time I deal with you. Always too humble to sing your own praises....time for me to sing them for you! You are slated for any event I run...

Back, but more to follow soon!!!

Meganium45 - Vince Krekeler

PTO for the St. Louis Regionals which proved I have the best people in the Pokemon World with my, my friends, my family, and everyone I hold dear in this crazy world of the yellow rat! They say when it gets tough, you know who is on your side. I think I discovered about 400 people who were on my side on Saturday!

I don't think I could've asked for a better crew to work on, Vince. Big thanks to everybody there, especially to Clay for letting me act on instinct in the beginning, and to Ray for teaching me (and at times re-teaching me) some of the finer points on how to Judge bigger events. Also, thank you Vince for letting me Judge the Regional closest to me and with such a pro crew.

I also feel like I have to apologize to any eardrums I might have burst during registration. I didn't mean to!

I to would like to Thank all the players what a group, excellent job all day!

Vince, Thank You for a great venue and a awsome staff to work with! It is always nice working with Clay.
Well planned and the whole staff done a awsome job!!

Copper and Tino:thumb:

I would like to thank the Master judges for a awsome job:thumb:
Rick, Ryan, and Nat Thank You!! It was fun!

When I say I am going to miss people, I am going to forget to thank people.

For the computer crew...Randy, Peter and Venessa.

The highest compliment I can give is that you were invisible. When an event runs so smoothly, and gets up and going so quickly, it is to the credit of those controlling the computers, and keeping everything entering and flowing along.

I was not called to the computer table AT ALL, and that means (a) you all are awesome, and (b) you all are awesome. What I did notice is the friendly way you handled the players, the other judges and staff, and everyone you dealt with. I could not have had a more competent and professional crew. Thanks to all of you.

Sherry - the super runner. Didn't you know the definition of runner meant you had to do EVERYTHING! And you did it! Thanks again. Too bad you weren't using a Pokewalker, you would have levelled quite a few pokemon to level 100! Super job!

Side Event Crews - Jana, Alan, Joan, Judy - you all made those events sizzle with excitement, fun, and kept everything on pace. My major disappointment in years past is that we have not announced winners, or had something fall through the cracks....nothing this year. You were all aces, not only as staff members, but as friends. Not only Poke-friends through our kids, but as people we can count on as friends. And...TA DAAAA - Congrats to Emily for the Top 8! I wish she could have grabbed glass, but a GREAT showing!!! I would be remiss here not to thank the Champaign crew of Nicole and Karen - the cookie lady, who gave us those beautiful and tasty treats to enjoy at the cookie-walk!

Food Crew - Those who do not know, the food vendor that was supposed to come backed out at 6:00 on Friday. That food was coordinated in 3 hours, and would not have happened were it not for Joel Conrad and my father, who just did it. Joel, once again, you have been there every time I could have asked for anything, even before I ask. I tip my hat to the one who I consider a friend inside and outside of the game. Dad, even though you don't read the board, THANKS. THANKS THANKS.

Don't worry judges, I haven't forgotten about you...you are next.

Meganium45 - The luckiest PTO on the planet.
