OK, now that States are over, we dedicate ALL of our time to getting ready for Regionals in St. Louis.

It is GUARANTEED to be the best 3-day Pokemon Festival you will see outside of Nationals and Worlds.

Keep your eyes on this thread, as the events are going to come into focus.

I can't WAIT for this to come up.

Friday - Preview Events

Saturday - Main Event - and After Events after the Swiss Rounds (Evening Side events like drafts and the like)

Sunday - top cut and other fun for the non-cutters (such as drafts and the like)

You know you want to come EXPERIENCE the PARTY that is the STL Regional!

Need cash to travel? Some of the BEST Vendors will be coming, and the Yeti will be open too!

Day 1 (Friday) will be a testing and side events type of event.

The first REAL day of Regionals is Saturday the 16th.

I just want to make a lot of people have a blast at this party! More time to sit, play and enjoy Pokemon!

Now I have to debate making Friday a full day off work (instead of a half day) so I can leave in the morning and enjoy all the Friday festivities.

Already looking forward to April!
 
Same here...Looks like I need to take Friday off myself to get an early start this year....

Is the vendor who I think it is Vince?

When are their hours?

Is there any news about the buy rates for bulk common/uncommon Pokemon, YGO, Magic, or Naruto from this vendor?
 
It looks very likely that I'll be coming here to reclaim my title ;). I'd love to know the bulk rates too, but I know you'll tell us as soon as you can.

Ultimate Black and White Theme Deck Challenge!

So, you think you are good at sealed? Really?

Prove it to me, and the rest of the world at this pair of ELITE events!

Cost to play will be $30.00 (no I am NOT nuts)

Each entrant will receive ONE OF EACH of the Black and White Theme Decks! (3 Theme Decks)

The players will then make a 40 card deck using the cards from all 3 theme decks (with any additional basic energy they would like).

What makes this a REALLY COOL Event is that everyone is playing with the SAME 180 card pool, and you will have to really get creative to make your deck rock and stand up.

40 cards gives you a LOT of control over your deck...and some specific challenges too!

The winner of this event will be declared the 2011 Yeticon SEALED Champion, receive a copy of their choice of Pokemon Black, or Pokemon White, and a Custom Yeti Gaming Champion trophy and other great prizes.

Limited to the first 32 entrants.

You all want a fun challenging format, you GOT it!!

what time is this going to start on Friday?
 
Cora and I will be there Vince minus the little one. We will have pictures and possibly some videos as she has been climbing and walking while assisted quite a bit the last couple of months.
We will likely have a couple of our area players with us as well.
 
The side events on Saturday will start about 3:00, with major evening events starting at 6:30. We will have food ordered in.

What about the events on Friday, specifically the sealed deck tourny. I need to make sure I leave CoMo in plenty of time to be in the first 32.

Sorry, the side events on FRIDAY will start about 3:00 with 8-person pickups and win-a-mat events.

The 32 player Black and White Sealed will kick off at 7:00 pm

There will be food brought in on FRIDAY to feed the masses.

Food will be on-site on Saturday as well.

Staff will be fed (gruel most likely :tongue:)

I am sitting down with my coordinating team to put a bow on all of this TONIGHT!
