Thank you guys so much for all the posts! I really do appreciate all you guys and thank you so much for backing me 100%. You all are wonderful and I enjoy working with you all and even more, being friends with such awesome people!!! You all rawk! =)
 
You made the right call.

The way Vince taught me:

1) Once you announce an attack - you must follow through with that attack. (As long as it is an attack listed on your active pokemon* or a card attached to your active pokemon like call or de-evoluter since those take place of an attack and end your turn.)

2) If you don't have the right energy requirements for the attack you called then it simply fails - your turn ends.

I know that it wasn't the right call. I am not going to say that the way it went down wasn't right, but if a player declares an attack and does not have the energy necessary, they have either of these options. They may either, us another attack that they do have energy necessary for, or may pass without doing anything. That is the correct call. I have had to make it in a tourney before. :smile:
