Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Stopping Stadiums

purugly g ftl!!!!!!

I see that come in to play, I'll burn cards faster than you can set it up to a 4 card hand. (the first thing that comes to mind anyways)

Care to elaborate LoTad?

EDIT: Ok, my bad.

It was more of a joke. Although the fat cat is actually pretty useful in other matchups, depending on what deck you're playing of course.

Well if we're going that way, Mr. Mime/Noctowl/Alph Lithograph/Looker's Investigation used with Weavile would probably be your best bet.

Team Rocket's Trickery is somewhat good except that your opponent chooses the card to discard. it would definitely be better if you could chose or if you could somehow get your opponent down to one card in their hand.

Yeah, I was being slightly sarcastic there.

But it is an idea, combined with Iniative...

(This is my 1600th post!)

Haunter AR has lock-up like attack, and forces you to PokeTurn your active in order to keep the combo going, menaing you have to play them sparringly or lose Defean spamming. Additionally they can just Lost Zone your Skuntank bringing your damage output down to lower than there's, and poor Tanks just asking to be 2 shooted by Droplets..

Oh shoot!!! Dialga can't retreat?? I took no damage due to resistance? Well shoot the only play is to PokeTur... Oh wait. Deafen.

I am confused.

Haunter AR is no good in the Dialga matchup (actually he is pretty bad in everything). Use the TM 1 to poison and put the Dialga to sleep. Now they have to rely on flips and or poketurn to keep their chain going. Its not brilliant but its better than nothing.

-.- i would focus on not getting pokemon in the lost zone than trying to counter the stadium -.-

Since this thread is obviously only about Lost Zone...

I'd take a two-part offense; I'd keep their hand constantly refreshed with Lookers/Judge and then also have a counter stadium or ability to discard a stadium in the disposal.

There's very few ways of searching for the stadium if you don't have it in your hand, and if you keep their hand small (perhaps with Mr Mime CL to tell when they have it), they will be forced to play it down when they have the first opportunity. Then, you counter it. Of course, you need to counter it 3-4 times.
Actually, that's a good idea. You could include Mr. Mime CoL with Weavile UD to discard the Lost Worlds.
Have your Sneasel on the bench, and do Mr Mime's power. If they reveal a Lost World, evolve, discard it. Then maybe you can SSU/Seeker it back up for future Lost Worlds.

Well you can't just hold the weavile in your hand. You have to keep him in your deck or in play.

I have a list which is 100% guaranteed to win against zonegar. 3-3 bibarel SF. 8 Water energy 46 trainers. once 1 pokemon hits the field, they can't win by lost zoning. bibarel can't be hurt by effects from attacks, so no fear for cursed droplets. OMGZZZ !! nEW dECk FuR StaTes !!11!7
