We have started Pokemon back at York after a hiatus. We sure missed the game during the break, but LeagueMom (Becky) and I needed the time off. We will both try hard to make things fly again.
Next Sat. we are having the first of what might be considered "strange" format tournaments. No ranking involved, maybe we can swing decent prizes, but hey.....no cover charge as always. Mixing up formats should help keep things interesting until Nin. decides what they want to do with formats and rankings, etc.
So...next Sat starting at 1 (doors open at 11am now on Sat.) and ending by 5 we have.....drum roll please
Unlimited...Fire and Fighting Pokemon with the following restrictions:
-no more that 8 basic energy cards of any one type
-colorless Pokemon allowed.
We're hoping that the limit on basic energy will help stop it from becomming a Magcargo festival (thanks TTAR666)
