Super Bowl commercial discussion

The Godaddy one is surprisingly...tame this year. Even the online one that Fox rejected isn't as risque as the past years.

For my favorite, I guess I'll go along with the one Coke commercial with the Macys day-esq balloons. Charlie Brown ftw!

A few made us laugh last night during the game but nothing was so good that we are trying to find it online this morning. I think Chairman Kaga got it right.

Now, my kids LOVED the one with all the screaming animals where the squirrel chases a nut into the road and sees a car heading right for him. And they liked the Thriller Lizards but it went on too long for them. Of course, those both missed their targets though as the boys cannot buy cars or even drinks by themselves.

Richard Simmons run-over, Charlie Brown beats Underdog and Stewie for a Coke, and Amp were my favs.

Overall, I'm going with the Doritos mouse, Planters Peanuts, and the Amp commercials, with Amp coming out first. I was really disappointed in Budweiser & Bud Light, so boring. Fed X let me down as well.

As far as the game, did anyone else notice that the clock didn't move for two plays in a row at 6:12 in the first quarter? They then go to commercial, come back and don't say a word about it.

The Giants defense won the game, no doubt about it. What a game.

Only the last quarter.

If it wasn't for all those lead changes in the last quarter the game would've suuuccckkeeedddddd.

See, this is the type of game I like to see. Both sides of the ball being played, every point is hard-fought.

It's possible that it wasn't a game clock problem at all, but Fox's. There was another spot in the 4th where the TV clock froze, then "caught up" about 30 seconds later (it was ticking down super-fast, 4-5 times normal).

In any case, there are two game clocks in any NFL game -- the stadium clock (which is considered official), and the line judge's stopwatch, which is referred to if the stadium clock malfunctions and becomes the official game clock if the stadium clock becomes unusable during a game.
