Not sure what the objection is, ogremarauder. Just a curious academic. There's not much private information on these general matchups. It looks like most people (75 last I checked) view them about the same.

FWIW, I haven't had a chance to do any analysis of the survey, but it wouldn't affect my son's deck. He will be playing RayEels this morning, because he understands it, likes it, and has it. Neither one of us will be surprised or upset if he ends the day with the same number of points he has now: 0. All in good fun.
 
For someone with 22cp, you seem overly competitive. This is just a fun survey to see what everyone thinks about the format, you don't have to be so uptight.
 
I'm allowed to be as free wheelin' or uptight as my mood suits me. But I'll rephrase and be done w/ it.

No survey will give you the level of insight that playing any given pairing will. Your own personal data obtained via testing, is most trustworthy. Good luck.
 
Probably not. But a survey of this kind is a good place to start.
 
Also depends on the kind of data you want- repeated testing vs hypothesis, or social opinion.

If lots of people (although 75 is a kind of small sample size) think a deck is good, lots of people will A. Use it or B. Plan around or intend to face it. From observations on this, you can examine WHY people think the deck is good, and why people may think it is when it is not.

Social vs statistical science.

I really agree with this. surveys by their very nature are about quantitative answers over qualitative, and personal testing is almost always superior as it's real life situations instead of speculation, and as a rogue player I see can understand why someone would prefer to avoid surveys.
 
I'll be sure to fill it out after my next Regionals, to get a good view of the current meta for myself.
I greatly applaud the initiative, things like this create beautiful and very useful statistics.
