Who won? What decks? Did they have bigger attendance?

Loppe, are you still on Pokegym?

EDIT: Found the competitor numbers:

57 players

Junior: 24
Senior: 24
Masters: 9

Down from 70 last year (29/25/16)

Well, they've had some distributor problems, so they had general low attendance in tournaments after February
Hope to get inj touch with some Swedes soon to get the results

Hi Black_jirach!

Thats correct that Sweden had trouble with changing distributor during Q1 which have affected the attendance and tournaments clearly. At Christmas Sweden was up 30% in number of players compared to last year but at Nationals attendance was down 30% compared to 2007 :frown:

Hope fully will things get going again when all issues has been cleared.

At least will Sweden be represented at Worlds this year also

Winner deck was, if I remember correctly,

Master: G&G
Seniors: Banette&Calydoll
Juniors: G&G

Hope things improve in Sweden, 2001's STSQ was the best tournament I ever played in outside Worlds. As I remember around 600 players? (Eskil will correct me...)

No less than 612, old fellow Sweden-champ! It wasn't the best run tournament ever (4 rounds of Swiss and many 4-0s who didn't make the cut), but there was an amazing Worlds-like feel to the size, and quite a kick to win ... :)

Loppe, I understand the reasons why attendance went down this year, but I'm positive that things will work out soon, and that Sweden will continue the great growth it until recently was in the middle of.
