Okay, my name is Simon Brundage and I've been on the gym for like 5 months. I just participated in my 2nd tournament ever. Here is the report.
Okay, so i get there at like 8:25, so im really tired. I get there and hang with my friends griffin and jake. We play a bunch of practice games and decide we are ready. I also meet Olliver, who is on Team Blitz and plays the same deck as me but uses luxray. So im extremely excited. We have like 81 seniors and 7 rounds T16. Then the pairings go up and the chaos begins...
Round 1 vs. Harlem with Metagross/Flygon
Okay, so i get a wicked sableye start and collector magikarps and gradually get rid of them over time. I was behind at first, so sent up dark arceus and took some prizes. By then, im ripping apart his set up and i finally pull off the win after tail revenging everything he brings up.

Round 2 vs. Jonathen He with Gengar/ Luxray
I was not excited about this. I get a decent start, collectoring my stuff and tail revenging gastly and uxe. Then things got crazy. He starts shadow rooming for a few prizes until I tail revenge Gengar for the KO. He rolls for fainting spell... HEADS! Stupid luck. So I keep picking off his guys after i rescue a gyara. He bright looks me and poltergeists for the knockout on my benched regice. After that i kill another gengar, fainting spell... HEADS! I hate stupid fainting spell. After that he pretty much won.

Lunch Break. I was bored and nervous. I needed to be careful next game. I went to mcdonalds and ate. YUMMY YUMMY FOR ME TUMMY>
Round 3 vs. some kid with Donphan
I simply set up fast with a sableye start. I tail revenge him till he finally gets donked. Easy win.

Round 4 vs. some other kid with Donphan
HAHHAHAHAH! 2 donphan in a row, me lucky day. I set up fast and tail revenge him a few times. He gets out an uxie x and keeps psychic restoring me till i was within range of ko from donphan. im behind in the end, but start sweeping with dark arceus. He finally kos me, but i have combee and rescue and i sweep from there.

Round 5 vs. Ezra with Mother Gengar
I make a few misplays. I take like 4 prizes in the beginning till he warp points me and dark palms gyara. After that, he gets lots of cheap stuff and in the end he emerges victorious. Close game.

IM FURIOUS RIGHT NOW! I need to win the next 2 games to make T16.
Round 6 vs. Justin with Speed Machamp
I get a crazy start and simply sweep him with gyara. He tries to get machamp but i kill him way to fast.

Round 7 vs. Cursegar
I was afraid of this. He starts with spiritomb and mr. mime. I start with sableye and crobat G. I did really well in warp pointing and tail revenging his set up. Finally he keeps me at bay with mr. mime. I simply switch, and over turns i attach energies to gyarados till i can kill his mr. mime. After that he never really gets a cursegar out and I simply wreck verything he tries to set up with crobat and pluspowers.

So I make top 16 as 13th seed. I look to see Griffin and Riley W. did not make it. I feel sad for them but I needed to focus on my t16 match. The one person i really didnt want to play was Olliver, my fellow team member. And guess who i play...
T16 vs. Olliver with Gyarados/Luxray
DANG!!!!! First round i try to set up gyara but he sets up faster and we finissh and i lose 3-0. He wins the first.
LOSS
So this game i set up faster and manage to overcome his gyarados. But he manages to make a comeback and poketurn ko my belted gyara for the win.
LOSS
Im not very disappointed because I made T16 in my second tourney ever. I pick up nine boosters packs as my prize and head home.
