Hey, here's a new deck that I believe could become a new archetype in the very near future..

Pokemon: 13
x3 Totodile
x2 Coroconaw
x3 Feraligatr EX
x4 Jirachi DX
x1 Holons Magneton

Trainers: 34
x4 Island Cave
x4 ER2
x4 TV Reporter
x4 Swoop!
x4 Pow!
x3 Rare Candy
x3 Stevens Advice
x3 Admin,
x3 PETM
x1 Retriever

Energy: 14
x8 Water
x4 Boost
x2 Metal

Strategy: Same as Powdacham. You try to get a t2 Feraligatr ex via Jirachi and Swoop to get his power out. Use Gatr's first attack to pile on damage on their bench, let him die, then Pow! them out and use his second attack to do massive damage. The only downfall to this deck is lightning weakness and Milotic, otherwise it's great. LMK if there's anything I can improve, BTW this deck will be a lot better when TRR is rotated out and rock-lock is no more.

I think twelve Energy isn't enough. It's very important to link energies ASAP in order to attack T2, and in your list there is only 8 energy cards that can be linked to Jirachi.

And maybe you coulds add a classic gatr, and a Totodile...

They wouldn't be able to use milotic anyways if he is active. I would go 4-3-4 feraligatr(3 ex and 1 normal) with the 4 Jirachi. Instead of it being turn 2, make it turn 3, much more consistant and not as much worry about ATM Rock.

EDIT: also if TRR is rotated out, Jirachi will most likely be aswell for most believe it is going to be EM- on.

You need at least 9 Water Energy to guarantee at least one in your opening hand. Even with Jirachi, you need the Water Energy turn one so you can wishing star for something more useful, like Rare Candy or Swoop!. I would go 4 PETM and 0 Celio, just so you have a better chance of getting the T2 Gatr. I played a deck similar to this at States, and it is quite effective. Perhaps you'll want to try Lunatone in here. Turn 1 you can get the Swoop or Rare Candy you need.

Wake up to metagame, 4 Jirichi in a deck is asking for humiliating losses due to Girafage and Cursed Stone.

I don't agree with you Slow Deck : in a T2 deck you only need Jirachi during the first two turns, after if your opponent plays a lot of Cursed Stone, don't put your Jira on your bench, and remove his stadiums with yours.

why play a 3-2-3 if you're not fitting in other pokemon and you want to maximize your chances to get the right pokemon.

Max out on the candy too

OK thanks for all the replies and constrictive criticisms. I added 2 more Water energy, to make the total 14. The reason i don't run a 4-3-4 line is because the space is pretty tight and I'm only going to need 2-3 Gatrs per game, so why put in 4. Whoever said the Girafarig comment, I only use Jirachi to stall so I can get built up, I could care less if I lose a prize on him. I actually hope the opponent kills Jirachi, then I can POW block. Also, the reason I didn;t max out on Candy is because 4 isn't necessary with all my draw and space is tight. Thanks for the help.

I used to run this deck

Yeah i used to run this deck for a while but I would say to add in the Articuno Ex as a tech because it doesn't have the tunder weakness that the rest of your deck has. The other thing I would say is to try to add in UF houndoom. I neven managed to get him in to my deck because I hadnt seen him until after i stopped playing it. It puts a stop to SO many decks its not even funny since the format is all about big benches now. You stip all of their abilities and they cant play trainers so your benched hounddom is safe for the entire game

Edit: forget about the houndoom thing I forgot he turns off the body too

How about using 1 or 2 HL Jirachi instead as they allow a more effectve set up for your evo's and almost eliminate the threat of Girafarig and cursed stone.
