yea, but then it's easier to KO a magmortar, and not as easy to power a new one up. with typhlosion in the deck, you will be able to charge up a magmortar with an extra 1-2 energy AND attach scramble to guarantee an ohko response.
 
Raid is very helpful for a turn 2 40 possible 50-70 with plus powers/strength charm, and we cant overlook the first attack which is why absol is played..

yes it can but why waste the energy on a mult. Holon FF alone will save you against all the water type pokemon. I would rather save myself a tough matchup over playing against a deck that has a card that will be errated!!!!
 
Would a Plusle or Minun in here help sustain the attack? Plusle would see the better option in something like this, but without playing it I'm not sure if the deck runs into energy droughts.
 
Minun would work better, but yeah, this doesn't beat Gallade when it sets up (not if, when, because it will almost always setup). Drop the Plus Power for either another Stregnth Charm or a Buffer Piece, and one Cessasion Crystal? Yeah, drop that for... something (another Warp Poing maybe?).
 
you have to play minun. otherwise you have absolutely no way other than topdecking to get out of a wager, another reason this deck is not tier 1.
 
if you are worried about wager than play more draw. Are 2 cards better than a TVR after a lost wager(mabye CopyCat)?
 
i think he's talking about your own wager , like this, you get knocked out, wager then minun, but if he's talking about your opponents wager, or your own, and using minun's power during your next turn, than tvr or copycat PLUS 2 cards from minun is better

i have to agree with Rambo on this one. I personally don't like the deck either although Chuck seems to do very well with it. I like the Typhlosion version a little bit better since it doesn't rely on Scrambles as much. A few of Chucks games have gone down to whether he gets the early scramble or not versus G/G. Then he won't play wager against a G/G even when he runs Cess. Crystal for the same reason they could easily Telepass a Wager until G/G wins and then leaving Magmortar to top deck the rest of the game.
