What is a good combo for Tangrowth Lv.X?

Is this good? Leafeon Lv.X 3-3-1, Sceptile GE 2-1-2 and Tangrowth Lv.X 2-2-1=???

Thanks for comments!

Leafeon Lv.X 3-3-1, Sceptile GE 2-1-2 and Tangrowth Lv.X 2-2-1= LOTS of Pokemon, not a lot of tech space.

Leafeon should be a 1-1-1 or 2-1-1 tech line at most. Tangrowth should be thicker.

If I were to make a Tangrowth/Sceptile deck, I'd go

-4-2-2PA/1GE Sceptile
-3-2PA/1GE-1 Tangrowth Lv. X

+ techs/whatev

I would take Nidoqueen over Shaymin. Shaymin is susceptible to Level Down and Extreme Attack. Since I went heavy on Sceptile I should already have enough rare candies for Nidoqueen to work just fine.

Leafeon shouldn't be needed, especially if you want to attach from the discard with Tangrowth

3-3-1 Tangrowth

2-1-2 Sceptile and some felicities/Regice (LA) for ditching your grass.

nidoqueen is good if your using the older tangrowth from storm front comboing with green renewal

shaymins slow the deck down badly

another good catrd i have been toyingwith cause cards like blaziken, infernape and ninetales are heavy in my area is dusknoir from diamond and pearl so funy to see there faces when i dark palm those cards lol

I'm also currently trying to do Tangrowth. Empoleon FB is a must for fire decks IMHO.

The main problem I can see is the Latest Tangrowth and the SF Tangrowth each are extremely versitile cards. Because of this, they have many viable combos but you have to decide on which strategy path(s) to take.

As already said by others: The SF T-Growth would be minus 40 damage/ turn (80 with the Lv.X's power) which is some phenomenal healing potential. The SF's attacks are also good but IMHO not as good as the latest.

I'm currently leaning towards the Coupling of the Arceus Tangrowth with the Sceptile that double s the energies. IF you can get Tangrowth going in this combo with the sceptile, the deck is nearly unstoppable as you should be OHKOing everything your opponent throws at you, or they will throw canon fodder putting you ahead in prizes.

Without deciding on which strategy to focus on, you run the risk of having a pokemon thick deck which is bulky to run and super inconsistent.

IMHO, Leafeon is not a great combo. It's a complete pain to get out, as is shaymin and once it's set up, its a bit useless. Your'e opponent will probably power spray the energy attach.

dusknoir from diamond and pearl will fix those pedky fire decks unless they don't put more then 4 pokemon on there bench this way oh i see you have a infernape 4 lv.x out oh my bad he gets shuffled back into your deck oh my
