Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

TCG YouTube Series: I need ideas and suggestions!

Some videos for new players obviously like tutorials for deck building, etc

Strategies in game with different decks / cards

Tutorial on how to trade properly.

Proper battle etiquette

just some things that could be useful.

1. I kinda am a new player, I could try that.
2. I guess I'm pretty good at coming up with strategies
3. I've never traded (I have in person).
4. Seems useful yet boring.

Thanks for the ideas.

Most annoying thing are those people who make announcements about what they are going to do and never follow through on them, so you probably don't want to do that.. I would just do what you personally enjoy doing.

Good point. Although. there's no specific aspect of the TCG I enjoy more than others.

If you have no idea on what you want to do, then it might just be best not to do it. It's much easier to commit to something, especially a series, when you're actually passionate for it.

Whatever you do, it should be different than what's already out there. For example you could:

Record a bunch of your PTCGO matches, then put the best ones on YouTube with your commentary, but do each commentary while impersonating a different celebrity voice.

4 you don't have to do a long video for. It's just simple things like what to do when arriving at a table, in game things to do, and after battle. It's for those people (you may know who you are) that don't ask when going to touch another persons card, be rude/bring up every small thing trying to get you penalized for no reason, and those that rage quit and mark down double wins just to spite the opposing player (this happened plenty at states)

I know it is completely unoriginal, but people (including myself) always seem to enjoy pack openings. I like to see what other people pull from packs. You could do like 1-3 packs a week from random sets. Obviously this would cost a bit of money, but they always seem to go down well on YT.

Also, weekly or monthly giveaways/raffles are really popular. Maybe you could hold a contest of some sort and the winner would get a prize.

If you are looking to keep this whole thing free, then TCGO games or GB/N64/DS/etc play-throughs are also very popular. Hope this helps some.

Try doing a group.
I am in a group called "All Around Pokemon" with Vablakes, PokemonPlayer101, thematteo0 and (Whose name I don't know on here) Camoclone.

A weekly vlog. Dedicate a specific day where your video is dedicated to this concept.

What you think about certain cards/interactions. You're personal progress throughout the game. How you feel the game is progressing. What holds you back. What you think the most overrated/underrated cards are. Whatever topic you want to cover.

This is something that I rarely see out of content producers for other games. However, I'm always drawn to those that do videos about their personal opinions on the state of the game, or certain factors of the game, no matter how vulgar their language might be (maybe it's just because I get what they're saying).

You can have all the pack openings, trade binders, and matches you want on all the other days. That's fine. However, dedicate one day to yourself where you just sit down somewhere, whether it be indoors/outdoors/whatever, think about a topic, and just let it out. However you feel about said topic.

If you're really salty about it, get salty about it on your video. Show some emotion behind it. You're passionate about the game. Show it in your videos.
