Last week I played on States with my gyarados against a many gengar and gliscor decks . They had two Mr. Mimes in and switched they every turn . I wouldt be very glad , if someone have an Idea for a little tech against it . Best wouldt be a SP . Thanks a lot for good ideas

A gyarados deck user that had issues against Mr Mime...this gives me much hope.

Best thing would be Poke Blowers or Warp Points and switching with a Pokemon with no retreat, but even then, you're only going to get one shot off.

Dialga G Lv. X, if you can get it out. Or, consider dropping a DCE into your list and hope to draw into that to bypass Mr. Mime.
Aside from that, thephoenix and Makka#1 pretty much listed everything else useful- Pokeblowers, Pokemon Reversal, and Luxray GL Lv. X.

Roserade GL :) funny to watch your oppenent be unable to retreat for 6 whole turns at which point you drop bat for ko and then bring something up with lux :)

Most people that run Mr Mime with psychic decks have Moonlight Stadium to enable free retreat, so you cant really lock it.

*facepalm*"the defending pokemon is now poisoned and cannot retreat during your opponents next turn"........actually forgot poision so its really 2 turns each and then cro drop so yeh where do they retreat from without use of point or scoop which scoop is hardly ever in gar.

Ah, that's right, that is a locking Pokemon, but even still, that's alot of delaying on both parts that allows your opponent to build up behind the Mr Mime as well.

mr mime hp = 70 roserade can do this for a gain and no more 2 turns later you drop crobat g for the ko (this is obviously without attacking) they bring something up you can either attach and retreat or poketurn bring up bring up luxray lv.x bring up another of their pokemon and if you used gain free retreat back to roserade = lots of laughs and it actually works

Strategy really depends on what's behind the Mr Mime. I've seen Mr Mime used as a lock/stall in so many decks, and it always depends on what is behind. The question you have to also ask is "Once the Mr Mime is gone, can they bring out something bigger and retaliate?" I normally shoot my Dusknoir out there, do a Lv X upping, and let that run the active until it gets knocked out, bring out the Mr Mime, and lock it again (unless Gengar is ready).

Mr Mime blocks Pokemon's damage which have 2 or less Energy Cards attached, not energy so DCE wouldn't make that difference.

Best bet is 1-1 Lux, 4 Poketurn, 4 Warp Energy.

I run double mime and double Mewtwo Lv X, only takes up 6 cards and if you run Gardy PL with it, you can power them up as needed. Ended up testing the deck last night, and had 2 Mime's and a Mewtwo Lv X, and they guy couldn't attack with my Moonlight Stadium allowing for me to retreat for free. Gyarados runs a very heavy risk when it comes to Mr Mime, and as stated before, most people have other things that are just as powerful to bring out.

Best thing you can do is probably have a Feraligatr Prime and atleast 8-10 water energy in your deck. May not sound like the best idea but if you get locked, drop all the water energy you want with Feraligatr and you'll have enough to do Gyarados' attack while going around Mr Mime's stoppers.

How would a 1-0-1 be fail? Mr Mime only requires 3 energy to be on to attack so being able to quickly place 3 energy from hand and instantly attacking can negate this and probably give a strong secondary hitter. Most G-dos decks run rare candies anyway.
