Note that POP did not allow dice or other random methods to be used. They do wish there to be a skill level to this game within the game.

But using cards IS random,and yes I have seen ppl that just pick a random card and throw it on the table.

Seriously, if you're relying on psychological mumbo-jumbo just to win RPS in a Pokemon game, there's something wrong with you...

No.... thats how you win.

Not to be rude, but it seams like most of the ppl complaining that you should use cards so you eliminate all mind tricks and psychology, are the ppl who arn't good at it.

I always use mind tricks. I think about it when my opponent shuffles his hand trough his deck. This is the way I win. If I played my opponent for a long time I pick the opposite one of the pick they like.
