Here it is, the premier.
Well, actually, not really, it's been on another site for another 5 months, but deal with it.

Genesis Revisited

As Ash and the gang were leaving, the young Eon siblings eere heading home.
Unfortunately, one little Latios never made it to the secret grove.
At that moment, a woman found a baby boy and took him in as her own.
She raised him to be perfect, and he was.
Perfecd in every way.
But as his 13th birthday approached, he began to stop growing.
He was tall, but he never grew over 5'6".
The whole island of Altomare, his hometown (all the kids), despised Lan for all of their worth.
Meanwhile, a young lady named Bianca and her grandfather, Lorenzo, learned that one Eon sibling was missing.
The only way they knew of this is when the others' minds grew enough to remember well.
Eventually, Bianca was kidnapped by Team Rocket, who was thought to be Latias in disguise.
As Lan grew to Latias, and his new friend Billy Bo Bob johnson (bobby for short), Lan soon found out that he was not human, and he had special powers.
Some ascpects of Lan that helped him on the way was the fact that he was a master artist and singer.
During the whole fued, Bobby tries to hide his own secret as long as he can.
After some serious research, Lan realized one thing.
Lan was the fourth Latios.
And, I left off with Lan, the Eons, Bianca, and bobby on the Altomare museum roof.

This is rated higher than my last, around PG-10.

First day on the job

Lan lay on the sandy hills of the West Beach.

He is still recooperating after a serious trama that has just destroyed his entire life.
Lan found truth.
And when you find truth, you seek love, so Lan decided that he had the break the news to his 'mom'.

Lan headed over to the center of the island.
Flying like a jet, Lan saw overhead a rainbow.
'Why would there be a rainbow when there isn't a cloud in the sky?'
Then he saw two strange pokemon fly towards the sun, leaving a colorful trail of dust.
Lan hadn't paid attention to where he was going, and crashed into the grove wall, and lost his cloaking.
He quickly shifted to human, and ran inside his house.
Lan saearched the house for his mother.
he couldn't find her anywhere.

He found Joan (his mother's name) in her room sitting on the desk.
Before entering, Lan heard some of what whe was murmuring.
"Now, now, dear, I won't let you go.
no, never, you'll alwayse be here, with me.
Don't worry... no one's after you.
Hush, don't cry, I've got you
I'll keep you forever and ever and ever..."
Lan peered in.
She was rocking back and forth in her chair cradling the air.
She had gone completely insane!

Lan stepped in, and Joan stared at Lan for a long time.
"What are you doing here?
Can't you see that me and Lan are having a good time?
I need to bond with him.
You go away.
What do you want with me?!?"

Joan has lost her mind ever since her only chance at motherhood had mutated and ran off.
'I'm not what you think I am.'

"Who said that?!?" Joan screamed.
"I know you're somewhere!" She was staring right at Lan.

'Mother, keep quiet.'

"You!" She pointed her finger at Lan.
"look what you've don to Lan.
He won't talk to me anymore.
My sweet baby can't talk because of you."

'Mom, listen for a sec.'

"So, it's you talking to me.
Telepathism?
I always knew yu were a psycho!"

'Looks like I'm not the only one.'

"You shut up!
I'm still you're mother and you will respect me like it."

'Mom, I'm 15 now.
you know that.'

"You don't look any older that 13!
Don't you lie to me, mister."

'Mom I have something to tell you.'

"Make it quick; it's almost Lan's breakfast time."
Lan peered at the clock on the desk.
It was 5 in the afternoon.

'Mom, I'm not human.'

"Tell me something I don't know.
You were there when the doctor told me that you weren't."

'No, I mean, I know what I am.
Just let me show you.'

"Fine.
What is it?
Are you on medication or something?"

'no, mom.
I'm-'

"Well?"

'You're might laugh.
But, I'm a Pokemon.'

"Oh my God, you are the stupiddest son I have ever had."

'you want to see?'

"Give me all you got, baby!"
Lan formed into his true shape.
"Oh, God, boy, the Devil is inside you!"
Joan slapped the crap out of Lan.
"Get out of this boy, rake me, please..."
Joan began crying.
Lan raised one eyebrow.
'One minute, she hates me, and the hext she's crying to get the demon out of me?'
Lan was careful not to let Joan hear that.

'No, mother, I am not possessed.
I am Latios.
Well, a Latios, per se...'

"You stay away from me and little Lan- I don't want you pulling any mumbo jumbo on us!"

'Trust me mother, if I thought that way, you'd be dead.'
Joan started at Lan.
She began to smother him with kisses.
Lan shoved her off.
'Get off me, broad.'

"Spare me, please!
Take Lan instead!"

Lan thought to himself.
'I wanted someone to love, but no matter how sane, no love like this would do it.'

Lan walked out the door in human form.
Waiting for him, almost on que, Bob burst in his face.
"I'll love ya!"

'No thank you.'

"Wait a minute- you are telekenetic?"
lan nodded his head.
"Haha, I knew it!
Now, listen closely, I have a -"

A strange noise disrupted Bob's very waited-for conversation.
'Gez, I'll never be able to let Lan know at this rate.' thought Bob.
'I need to wait for the right moment.'
Bob looked back, and Lan was gone.
"Wait!... oh, God!"

I had a feeling most of you won't do with Genesis Revisited, which is what the other site had to deal with.
I am proud that these chapters are increasingly longer, and more packed.

Fallen Ash from the fire.

Lan was sitting in the grove, next to Bob.
"So, are you happy the way you are?
I mean, you aren't upset or stil depressed or anything, right?"
Lan kept his head down, but aimed his eyes right at Bob.
"OK, I guess that means you're still reco-oping from that day, huh?"
Lan looked back down, and nodded his head.
"Hmm.
Well, Lan, there's been something that IL've wanted to tell you for a long time.
Lan, I'm-"

"Good News, guys!!!"
Lan and Bob spun around to see Bianca at the door of Lorenzo's workshop.
"Hey, Ash is coming!"
The only movement in the entire garden was from Latias, who was doing flips in the air.
"Now, guys, even Lan should know who Ash is."
Bob, Lan, Peppy, and Blue continued their blank stares.
Latias went berserk, then rushed towards Bianca, before taking a dip and pulling up.

Lan, Bobby, Blue, and Peppy were sitting next to Bianca at the base of the Oak, while Latias was still in the air.
"Oh, Bianca, who is Ash?
And why are you so happy?
You're really starting to scare me."

"Ash Ketchum fwas a great friend of mine.
He was here in Altomare when Latias and her brother, Latios, fought two villianesses.
He's coming this Saturday!
Isn't it awesome?"
Lan sparked and looked up, happy.
"See, I knew you knew."

"Not me.
Seems like a nobody."
Latias flew up to Bobby and smacked him in the face.
He began to sweat.

It was Saturday, and the other guys came to the exact dock where he left 15 years ago.
A small holofoil came into view.
Bianca, glanced at it, then pointed over to it for the others to see.
The only one not there was Lorenzo.
As the Holofoil pulled into the bay, Bianca began giggling.
"Hey!"
Ash called to Bianca.
Bianca ran to him and jumped on him.
She gave him a hug.
Bianca then took a step back, and took a closer look at him.
''Are you checking me out?"

'I'm going to explode!
I need to let this out.'
Bobby was furious.

Bianca and Ash left for the grove.
Bianca never noticed the passengers in Ash's ship.
An Old man named Brock, a woman named Misty, and a little baby.
Too bad for her.

The man named Brock spoke up.
"Huh?
Who are you?"
He stared right at Lan, who was paralyzed.
"Wait a minute-"
Brock began murmuring for a while, thinking real hard.
"Yeah, I remember now.
Wait- you're--!"
Bobby clapped his hand on Brock's mouth.
Brock began to whisper. "You're that Latios, from when we left last time we were here.
Bobby and Lan stayed with Brock, while Peppy and Blue were with Misty.

"So, you're the little guys that we saw when we left here, huh?" She spoke in a cutsy voice.
"You've grown up.
But where's the third one?
Peppy pointed at Lan.
"Wow, is he the one who smacked himself on that pole?"
Blue nodded.

"So, Bianca, what's happened while we were away?"
"Why don't you tell me, Ash?" Bianca got very close to Ash.
"So?"
"well, nothing much.
I'm going to a community college close the the east shore.
What about you?"
"well, yeah, I went to some Pokemon Colllege.
I beat the Elite four, and I'm now a faous Pokemon Master.
But after that, I got married and--"
Ash clapped his hands to his mouth.
He caught himself just in time.
"What's that?"Bianca casually asked.
Ash thought in his head. 'good, she didn't catch that.'

Everybody got back together in the fountain of Soul Dew.
Everybody except for Latias.
No one really noticed, though.

"Everything's been okay.
Literally, nothing has happened since you left, almost like you banished the evil from the island."
A very scraggly voice came from Lorenzo.

"Grandpa's gotten very spiritual.
I think It's a bunch of crap." Bianca told her friends about Lorenzo.

"It's not crap, it's Shinto.
You, of all people, should know what Shinto is."

"Yes I know, jsut please don't remind me.
But, you know what, Grandpa, you can believe whatever you want."

The guys gathered around the Soul Dew to give their grace.

Bob spoke to Lan.
"This is gonna get ugly.
By the looks of this, Bianca really liked this Ash guy.
It'd be sad when she finds out he's married."
Lan nodded.

Gez, I don't even think my first story bombed this much.
Barely any views even.

Sifting through the Ash

“So, Ash, how’re things going?” Bianca giggled.

“I thought I told you already.
I’ve just finished-” Ash started, but Misty had interrupted him.

“Ash, don’t hide the truth.
Bianca deserves to know.”

“I deserve to know what?”

“Well, see, Bianca… I…”

“We’re married.”

Bianca looked up.
The gang heard a thud behind them.
“Wow, great for you.
So, I see that the baby you’re holding is yours, eh?
What’s, uh, it’s name?”

Ash and Misty looked very surprised.
They expected Bianca to go of a rampaging spree or something.
But what was that thud?
Ash looked behind him.
Latias was on the grass behind the bench.
Ash couldn’t tell if she was dead or sleeping, or for that matter…
But ash turned back around like her noticed nothing.

Bianca repeated herself.
“What’s it’s name?”

“Well, actually, she’s a she.
We named her April.”

“Wow, she’s so cute!
I want to snuggle her.
Can I?”

“Sure.”
Misty gave April to hold.

“Awww…”
Bianca tickled the baby.
She giggled.

April glanced at Lan.
Lan saw a glimpse in her eye.
To him, it looked like April wanted something of Lan.
April reached at her.

Bianca never noticed.
No one noticed but Lan.

‘I like you.’

‘What the-?’
Lan heard something.
It might have been telepathic.

He couldn’t know.
Lan hasn’t developed the skill to differentiate thoughts from spoken words.

Lan was at the Museum with Ash.
It was finally finished with the renovation.
“So, what’s up with you?
I mean, y’know…
With the psychic powers and everything?”

‘I like being a human.
It might be because I’ve grown up like that, but I still don’t feel like I’m a Pokemon.
I’d rather stay like this.’

“So, what’re we here for?”

Ash and Lan walked in.
They saw the DMA.
Next two it, they saw two ancient poke balls.
They looked like they had been collecting moss and mold for, well, ever.
The DMA was back in it’s place.

Next to the DMA was a display on Annie and Oakley.
“It says they were secret agents for Giovanni, head of Team Rocket.
Those girls were cute…”
Lan rose one eyebrow.
“I mean, they were evil, but yeah…”

“Got any girlfriends?”

‘What? no! why?’

“You don’t?”

‘Well, I mean, it’s not like I don’t want one, but…
Hey, why are you getting so into my life like that?’

“Well, it’s interesting that a Pokemon could live in the human community like one.”

Latias was in fact sleeping.
She had fainted after hearing that Ash had married Misty.
Latias was always jealous of Misty.
She was sad that her final kiss goodbye was for nothing.
Her hopes were broken.

LAN Connection

‘Ash?’

“Yeah, Lan?”

Ash and Lan were coming back from the museum after a stop at the ice cream shop by the channel.

Lan took a pause as he took a lick.
‘Hey, Ash, I have this feeling with you.
It’s almost like I…’

“You’re ***?”

Lan almost dropped his cone.
‘No, man, why are you thinking like that?’

“One has toe be precautious as an adult.”
Ash remembered a time when he was a teen.
Brock had been turned down so many times by girls that he had desperately turned to boys.
Lan saw this, and worried for Bob’s sake.
Fortunately, Bob succeeded a lot more often.

‘Nah, it’s like, I have too much energy and I need to get it out.
And, I kinda wanna battle you.
I want to see what I can do.’

“You want to battle me?
Well, okay, but I’ll have to make a stop.
Does this island have a Pokecenter?”
The last time Ash had visited, he had never explored, and found no Pokecenter.
He wanted to find one to deposit some Pokemon so that he wouldn’t kill Lan.

‘Yeah, it’s somewhere around here.’
Lan led Ash to a Pokecenter on the east side of the island.

After Ash had fresh Pokemon, they headed for the grove in the center of the isle.
“Hey, guys, c’mon over.
You might want to see this.”
Everyone came to the old oak with the swing.
Ash announced that Lan wished to battle him for the first time.

“Lan, you sure about this?
You have no idea what you can do.
And, to top that off, you weren’t raised as a Pokemon, so you probably don’t have developed skills.”
Bianca was very worried for Lan.

Latias actually came.
She had been sleeping all afternoon, and had apparently just woken.
She yawned in Bianca’s face, sleepy-eyed.
Bianca jumped.

‘Let’s see what I can do.’

April sat in Misty’s arms.
Her eyes were fired up.
Brock sat next to Misty.
He gave a look to Bob, which paralyzed him.

Lan turned into his Eon self, and Ash sent out a Treecko.
The Treecko has a stick with a leaf in his mouth.
Like a hillbilly.
“Hey, Ash, where’d you get the Treecko?”

“I hatched it from Sceptile and May’s Delcatty, remember?
Alright, Lan, I’ll let you attack first.”
Ash whispered something in Treecko’s ear that Lan could not hear.

Lan tried a tackle attack, and threw Treecko into a tree, but Treecko landed it.
Lan gave the Treecko a nasty bruise on his forehead, as well Lan.
He began to rub it, not paying attention to the battle.

“Treecko, Bullet seed!”

“Treee…. Ko ko ko ko ko ko ko!

The attack clocked Lan on the head, which pained his sore spot.
Lan opened his mouth and clenched his teeth, wincing at the hit.
Lan thought to himself.
‘Bianca was right.
I grew up as a human.
I don’t know what the hell I’m doing.
I still have the stamina and power of a person.
I’ll have to stay with physical attacks.’
Lan made whatever fist he could and socked the Treecko in the stomach.

Treecko didn’t travel a great distance, but fell on his back this time.
Treecko vomit on his side, than struggle to stand back up.

‘If I’m having this much trouble beating a newly hatched Treecko, then I really need to train.’

“Treecko, use pound attack!”

The Treecko ran over to Lan and jumped in the air.
He spun around and landed his tail on Lan’s face.
This sent him in to the Poliwag pool.
Lan didn’t get up for a while.

“Did I make him faint?”
Ash was scared.
Bianca was horrified.

Five minutes had passed by without any signs of Lan.
“I’ve seen this sort of tactic before, but it never lasted this long.”
Ash and his Treecko strode up to the pool, cautiously, in case it was a big bluff.

It turned out Lan was still thinking in his head.
‘Wow.
I could never hold my breath like this.’
Lan looked at his hands.
He stared at them for a while before realizing that he had to try something else before his passed out.

He slowly rose out of the pool, dripping with water.
His wings were down.

“Lan, you alright?”

Lan nodded., his eyes closed.

His sharp eyes opened and he flew full speed at Treecko.
Ash jumped back, as did Treecko.
Lan decided to try a Wing attack.
He spun upside-down and slapped Treecko with his left wing.
He realized that it wasn’t done that way, as it did virtually nothing other than aggravating Treecko.
Lan tried it again, but this time, he blew a lot of air at Treecko.
Again, it made Treecko steam.
But, he was blinded, and panting.
Lan saw his chance.

Lan dropped the Wing attack and go with an all out ram.
He smacked Treecko with whatever he had left, but bent his neck slightly when he made contact.
Treecko flew into Ash’s chest, knocked-out.
Lan raised his arm and gave a high-pitched yell.
Then fell to the ground.

Lan blacked-out.

Sweeping the Ash into another

“May you forever have good health and wealth.”

“Grandpa…”

“Oww…”
Bianca elbowed Lorenzo.

Ash, Brock, Misty, and April were leaving.
Latias wasn’t there to give her regards.

“Alright.
Goodbye!”
Everyone waved goodbye.

It wasn’t until they had just disappeared over the horizon that Lan spotted April on a bench near the port.
‘Didn’t’ I see you leave?
Oh, God…’
Lan was stuck with April.
April wouldn’t move.
Lan took her in his arms and followed the leftovers to Lorenzo’s apartment.

‘Hey guys, check this ou-’
Lan had caught up with them eventually into their apartments.
Lorenzo was lying on his bed.
He was sweating out of control, and he had an ice patch on his forehead.

“What is it, Lan”?
Bianca was almost nagging.

‘Well, this can wait.
What’s happened to Lorenzo?’

“Oh, Grandpa’s got cold sweat.
I’m scared.”

‘This isn’t good.’
Everybody is in the room.
Lan knew from previous experience that he needs space.
The only person in the room should be Bianca.

*flashback*

“Get him!
Get him now!”

“We aren’t able to.
He’s going out of control.”
There was a man on a bed and two guys running everywhere.

“Do something.
Were’ going to lose him.
Give him new ice!”

“He’s going!
He’s going…
Wait he’s stopped sweating.
Oh, no…”
The man on the bed fell on the floor.

“What is it?
I got the ice!”

“Toss that.
He’s gone into a seizure.”

“Give him the anesthesia!
His heart’s stopping!
Forget the medicine, just keep him alive!”

“God, this guy is just loosing it.
Maybe he was meant to just die.”

“No, I have a bet on the line.
I’m not letting him go.”
That man nearly jumped on the guy on the floor.
It killed him.

“Darnit, there goes my fifty bucks.’

‘How can this guy think off winning a bet instead of saving a life?
He’s sick.’

“I’m sorry, Mrs. Johnson.
We couldn’t’ save him.”
The nurse came to Billy’s mom.

Lan heard the doctor cursing in the background.

“Oh-hoh-hoh, Johnny!
Ahh-oh…”
The lady was crying.
All this was seen by Lan on the day of his blood test.

‘The pain of loss…’
Lan was both depressed and disgusted at the same time.
He couldn’t understand it; He had always had this feeling for other people.
He always knew how they felt.
Like he can see into their hearts.

*end flashback*

Lan snapped back to the present.
He remembered April in his hands.

Lorenzo was sitting on his bed with Bianca next to him.
No one else was there.

‘How long have I been in my memory?’

“Lan, are you okay?
You’ve been standing there with that thing.
What is it?”

‘Hmm?’
Lan thought out loud.
He looked into the blanket and saw April.
But something told him it wasn’t April.
He didn’t feel her presence.
But he knew she was there.
He was holding her.
‘Who are you?’

‘I’m nothing.’
Lan heard April with his head.
But maybe that thing in his arms was right.
She is nothing.
He sensed nothing of it in the realm that all psychic’s visit.

OOC: This cought me by surprise.
I tried ot make this sound as real as possible, but it still has lot's of fantasy in it.

“Grandpa?
Grandpa, no.
Don’t…
It’s okay, no please Grandpa…
Don’t go…”

“Bianca, always, remember, look to the gods.
They’ll protect you.”

“Grandpa, this is not the time to be talking about stuff like this.
This is important.
Here, take the tissue.”

“Oh, Bianca, *cough* I hate to go.
But it’s what right.
The gods planned it.”

“No, Grandpa, God planned it.”

“Bianca, you’re a sweet girl, but that’s just hogwash.”

“Y’know, Grandpa, its times like this that I have my doubts…”

“Oh, Bianca, *cough cough*
I don’t feel so good.
I have to go.”

“No, I can get you to a doctor.
It doesn’t have to end like this.”

“Bianca, you’re so foolish.
Oh, I think… *cough*
It’s getting harder to breathe…
Bianca…?”

“Grandpa,”

“Please, tell Lan, that I *gasp for air*
He’s got nothing on him.
He’s different from the first Latios.
The original-"
There was a long akward silence then.
"He never failed to do the right thing.
Lan, however, is very reluctant.
There is something about him that doesn’t seem right.”

“Oh, Grandpa, don’t make me tell him.
I feel sorry….
The world has been so hard on him.”

“Bianca, if you don’t tell him, it could scar him.
You need to tell him of his past.
It’s the only way he could live peacefully.”

“He’s peaceful as it is…”

“Bianca, I’m think I’m going…”

“No, Grandpa, it’s only a cough.”

“Bianca, for gods’ sakes, I’ve got Anthrax.”

Lorenzo’s eyed dilated, the shrunk to nothing.
His mouth lay open, gasping for air.
Slowly, but surely, his breathing grew heavier, and scarce.

“Grandpa, I’ll never leave you.
Not when you’re dead, not in the spirit.
I can’t live without you…”

Lorenzo passed away.
His body lay on his bed, Bianca hunched over it.
She sobbed until she fell asleep.

“Haha!
Yeah!”

Bob made a cannonball in the canal.
“It’s good to finally be in the normal world.”

Lan had a smug look on his face.
He agreed.

‘It’s a lot better than worrying about who I am.
I mean, it’s me.
I know more about myself than I do.’

“Yeah, but there are times when I think you know nothing of yourself.”

Lan nosedived into the canal, then stopped.
He was holding his breath.
A school of Remoraid raced his way, and he tried to dodge them.
Unfortunately, they swam so fast by him, he lost his trunks.
He was frantic to find them.
One of the Remoraid had got it caught on it’s head.
Lan transformed and swam like a jet towards the school.

‘I’m naked as a Latios.
That’s a surprising concept.
But when I’m human, I need clothes.
It’s- straining.’

He caught up with them, unfolded a single arm, and grabbed it.
It was just in his reach before the Remoraid made a sharp turn.
Lan opened his eyes wide, and saw the end of the canal.
He rammed it headfirst.

‘Ow,’ Lan let out after rubbing his head,.
‘Hmm?’
Lan saw a narrow opening under the entire canal, on the wall.
He went in.

On the other side, he found he was in some kind of pool.
He surfaced and laid down his down.

‘Bianca..’

Bianca was kneeling in front up a pile of dirt.
She was muttering something.
As he neared, she rose from her prayer.
“Oh, Grandpa…”

Lan was shocked.
Was it already?
That…
Lorenzo had to leave them.
It was good.

“I can’t help thinking about Lan.
He doesn’t know anything about his past.
Grandpa, I just cant’ tell him.
I can’t believe that Lan has something this big in for him.”
Bianca walked towards the workshop, now a storage room, and walked upstairs to her balcony.
“Oh, Lan, I know you’re here.”

Lan began to sweat.
‘Heheh…’
He became visible, and shifted.

“Lan, Grandpa told me to tell you this, but…
I can’t.”

‘What?’

“You’re not fit to be an eon Pokemon.
Nothing like the first one.
You really do have the traits of a human.
You’ve evolved, Lan.
You’re more than another Latios who’s father has been encased in gems.
You have a larger purpose.”

The Sugar Effect (part 1)

‘Oh, man, this week has been terrible.
It’s good with Ash coming, bad when he leaves…
Good when I actually settle in, bad when Lorenzo dies…
Good when Bianca gave me the news, bad when…
Something’s bound to go wrong.’

Lan was walking down the road towards his house.
He felt that there was something there that could clear up his past.

When he got there, Joan was in the kitchen.
She had a pot of boiling water on the stove, and a baby doll in it.
“Nice and warm, Lan?”

Lan avoided her and headed straight for her desk.
He found a file cabinet next to it, and decided to shuffle around in the files.
He found a file named ‘Lan’.
In it, he found documents his documents.
Medical documents, school papers, birth certificates…
‘Birth certificates?’
He pulled out a paper that said
‘Certificate of Birth
Hospital of Altomare
This is to certify that Lan Richard Itchien was born to Richard and Joan Itchien.
(date) April 19, 1991
(time)00:01
(length)20 ins.
(weight)7lbs. 2ozs.’

‘I thought that Joan had found me on the dock.
Since had she given birth to me?’

He continued to shuffle around, and found a burial paper.
‘The body of Lan Richard Itchien has been buried in the Lavender Town Cemetery.
Time of death: 24:00 Apr. 18, 2006
Time of burial: 14:25 Apr. 23, 2006’

‘I didn’t die, did I?’
Lan then looked at the medical records.
According to the papers, it says that Lan’s blood type is A+.
Human.
Lan remembers specifically that the doctor described Lan’s blood type as ‘unhuman’.

Lan thought it over.
Joan had had a child before she had found Lan, and took him in in place of the original.

Lan left his house and headed for the museum.
Looking in the myths section, he noticed something different.
There were no ancient poke balls lying next to the DMA.

pretty short chapter, but I cant' be on the comuter any longer.
Part 2 on tomorrow.

the Sugar Effect Part 2

Lan left his house and headed for the museum.
Looking in the myths section, he noticed something different.
There were no ancient poke balls lying next to the DMA.

'Wha?'
There was a huge crash in the museum.
Lan looked to the east wing to see books and carts everywhere.
One book stood up with it's cover at an angle.
Then it fell forward.

"Esp..."
'Okay, i know I heard something.'
Lan ran outside.

Awaiting him at the front door was an Espeon and an Ariados.
But from all his school, Lan sees something strange in these two Pokemon.
The Espeon looks like it hasn't groomed itself in years.
The Ariados had webs spun all around itself.
Whatever happened, these two had let themselves go.
"Esp!"
The Espeon fired a psybeam at Lan.
He dodged the beam, right into it.
He hadn't expected that it had such bad aim.
Lan stood in agony with no sound.
'Woah, I feel like I've been in this situation before.
Alright, if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you''ll get.'

Lan turned into Latios.
He rammed the Ariados fullspeed.
It flew all the way from the front steps to the ocean.
Lan assumed he was drowsy.
But the Espeon was clearly aware of what was going on.
"Espeon!"
Espeon let out another psybeam, and this one hit without Lan having to dodge it.
'Jez, what, does this thing know what I'm doing or is it just trying to tick me off?'
Lan tried another wing attack.
This time he got it down, because it looks like Espeon sustained some serious damage.
But Lan can't shake that feeling of when he lost to the Treecko.
How can he lose to a Treecko and be winning an Espeon?

'Alright, now to try a psychic attack.'
Lan closed his eyes.
When he opened them, Espeon was in the air.
'Hey, it's a lot easier than I thought.
All I have to do is see it in my head.'
The Espeon slammed up and down on the pavement a few times before finally settling down.

Lan turned back into his first form when he saw the Espeon wouldn't get up.
The Espeon did get up, and when it did, it was sweating severly.
It jumped in the air and rammed the cement head-first.
'Oh, crap.
I think I just killed it's brain.
It's more than confused.'
Lan ran wildly ot the grove.

"Get out of here, Ryan!"
"I'm not going anywhere.
Not after I found this out," a very high and sly voice passed through Lan's ears.
"Ryan Plunkett, Don't make me hurt you."
"Hurt me with a red-aluminum bat?
What are you a queer?"
"GET OUT YOU CROW!!!"
Lan swung his bat at Ryan very wildly.
Ryan, whoever he was, turned into a crow.
His wings flapped while his feathers flew everywhere.
He was hopping up and down on Lan's counter now.
"You coward, I didn't mean crow!"
"You really don't see, do you?
"I can see through your heart, you monkey.
I see nothing!"
Lan pulled the bat back and launched it at Ryan's head.
A direct hit.
While Ryan was paralyzed, Lan took a few more whacks at him.
When Ryan regained conciousness after a few seconds, he stood up.
While he looked down, Ryan began to shake wildly.
Ryan was sweating just as hard, so hard, even, that it looked like he dunked his head in he kitchen sink.
When Ryan lifted his head, his eyes were wide open.
His left eye stared straight at Lan while the other one swirled into the back of his head.
His mouth was in a teeth-clenched grin.
"Heh-heh.
hee-huh.
Ha-ha ha ha he,
Hahahahahahah!!"
Ryan began laughing as uncontrolably as his shaking.
Lan's worst nightmare had some true.
He had disabled a human's brain, so that it would not correctly function.
Ryan was slowly dying, and Lan knew it was him who is killing.
"Stop that!"
Lan took one last swing.
Ryan fell face-flat on the floor.
Ryan's heart began to grow in pace.
Lan could tell what his pulse was, it was so loud.
First it started real slow, then it wtarted to grow.
50-60-75-90-120-140-150-180-195-225...
Ryan's heartbeat grew so fast that blood oozed out of his ears onto the tiled floor.
Puss began leaking out.
Everything but snot was leaking out of Ryan's head.
"No...
I didn't do it...
I didn't kill anybody.
No!"
Ryan was still laughing.
Suddenly Ryan's heartbeat divebombed.
270-130-90-66-45-30...
Ryan was laughing louder and louder until he suddenly stopped.
Ryan was luanched a foot in he air and landed with a thud.
Ryan's heart exploded.

Lan's two worst fear's had come true.
He had disfunctioned a person's brain.
He had killed a man.

Lan at straight up in his bed.
He was breathing very deeply.
Lan looked at his pillow, which was drenched with sweat.
Lan turned his pilow over and plopped his head on it.
He fell straight asleep.

Lan the Misinterpreter

Lan fell asleep in his actual house.
Seeing that file made him incredibly drowsy.
‘Jez, I’ll never forget that nightmare.’
Lan looked at his clock, still sleepy-eyed.
‘Yikes, it’s almost ten in the morning!’
Lan jumped out of bed and fell face-first into the floor.
He sat there, twitching a little.
After a few seconds, he got up, dressed himself, and ran outside in a hurry.

“Hmm…
What a cute guy.
Wait- haven’t I seen this guy before?
Yeah, I have.
But only glimpses.
I have to get myself to talk to him.”

Lan was running for the grove, to tell everyone he was alright.
Some girl was following him.
Lan kept running, but he did slow down.
The girl sped up a bit.
Before he knew it, he stopped looking over his shoulder.
The girl grabbed his shoulder and spun him around.
After he turned around, he still moved forward, and almost stumbled on his head.

“Hey, buddy, what’s your hurry?
Oh, I’m sorry, I haven’t properly introduced myself.
My name’s Melissa.
What’s yours?”

Lan didn’t know what to think.
This had happened once before, but it had turned out to be family.
This girl can talk, so she’s not an Eon.

“Well?”

Lan didn’t want to reveal to her his powers.
Me mouthed what he was thinking.

‘My name’s Lan.
What’s up?’

“Wow, I like that name.”

Lan stood back and took a second to see what had grabbed him.
She was well formed.
What really caught Lan’s attention was her height.
She was incredibly tall.
Lan also didn’t think.
Actually, Lan was so dumbfounded that he didn’t know where he was even.
When he regained mental consciousness, he jumped back.
Lan forgot that he remained short.

Her hair was a silky brown, tips bleached by the sun.
It was incredibly long.
Her legs were thin, as her build.
When Lan reached her face, his jaw fell to the ground.
Clear of acne, soft skin, freckle-less, and fragile.

When Lan regained consciousness, he mouthed his thoughts.
‘Melissa, um, what makes you want to talk to me?
I mean, I’ve never seen you before.
Why would you talk to me?
I’m not one to be hung around with…’
Lan looked down.
‘Well, let me rephrase that-’

“I know that you’re hiding something.”

‘And what is that?’

“You like me, don’t you?”

‘Well, along the lines of that…
Just exactly the opposite.
I wasn’t checking you out.
I was just trying to get to the center of the isle.’

“Okay, then, os I assume that means you’re busy.
I’ll catch you later.”

‘Yeah, later.’
Lan ran as quick as he could for lost time.
He promised he’d be at the grove at sun up.

When Lan arrived, Bianca came running towards him.
“Where were you?
Well, that’s a stupid question.
Peppy told me all about it.”

‘Peppy spied on me?’
Lan grew nervous.

“Yeah, she spoke to me that you had a nightmare.
I mean, wow, that’s scary.
But what’s been bugging you that would make you dream that?”

Lan was relieved.
He thought that Bianca had known about the girl.
‘I mean, not that I think she would be hurt, this is just kinda personal.’

‘Jez, this girl is definitely either retarded or really into my skin.
I’ll have to make myself a mental note to avoid her.
If it comes down to the line, I’ll have to do something drastic.
I’ll have to give myself a new body imagery.
