Smooth Over for an energy so you can at least get 1 energy attached to Charizard through the power.
Nice deck. This will prolly become a major archetype next format. IMO it is better (well almost) than LBS cause LBS can do 200 a turn but you have an ex active

Charizard's power is anything but garbage. It will almost always give you another energy or 2 than you normally would have been able to attach, which makes his atack cost more like 2-3 energy. Energy root is good after you use his power though.
 
Finally!! The threat of ATM rock has now decieced!!! (After worlds) But now we have to deal with Espeon EX...

But yeah, the deck seems almost broken. You just need a way to heal your Charizards. Sitrus?
 
Ok so when people talk about cards that are broken or close too it, the natural thing to do is pair those cards to make something that is even better. Charizard d and delcatty EX will be the deck. Just think about it.
 
IMHO, Sallygross is better. It's easier to get running because after you get the 1 metagross out, that's all you need without having to attach an energy for the turn. Sure, there's a difference between 120 damage and 100 damage, but atleast with Sally, you only have to discard 1 energy, but with charizard, you have to discard all metal energy. I don't see it being worth 20 more damage.

But I do love charizard.

well you would have to take out the retriever or do you know if they are going to remake that also?

Mercury is the bes name for a deck ive seen in a while.

ans sallygross is better for the reasons Prime stated =P
 
Also, I see a huge change in how decks work coming up. I see more and more ways to shut down powers. I see more and more ways to get going quickly with basics and stage 1's. What I don't see happening is large stage 2 decks with powers doing well. I don't see the format shifting towards that kind of deck. The format at the moment is shifting away from those kinds of decks too. Mewtric, Mew/Wobb/Jynx, Flariados, Medicham, etc.

names like LBS are helpful on the gym, you can work out what the deck consists of.
in a tornament call it what you like
 
archetype no and definetly when the next lbs comes out meganium,steelix no way and why are u playing plusle and the engine waste of space
 
actually I think this is pretty good but there isn't anyhing that great to heal it don't play SSU play briney's instead it is more useful coin wise.

good idea though
