Reprint these cards as a set, and that will sell amazingly all over the world, no matter what and it will be the best selling set of all time. No exceptions. Returning & new to competitive players and current players who are butthurt by rotation would SERIOUSLY love it alot.

...Thoughts, anyone? :D

it seems like you just grabbed all the playable cards and put it into a set.
if we have all the cards now, why would anyone buy this? i mean as a box opener sure, but most of them are in triumphant anyway.

If they printed all of this in one set, no one would be interested in buy all of the other sets. They would lose money putting all of this in one collection.

I would have to think that developing the TCGO to run live sanctioned tournaments, culminating in playing Worlds with live contestants able to play internet contestants (with real time updates of exactly what the live opponent does) so that EVERYONE who put in the hard work to earn an invite could "attend" would be the best idea they could do.

^I'd be satisfied with just online Worlds, or rather online Qualifiers for Worlds - several tournaments with invites (not trips) for the top 2. Shouldnt be hard or unfeasable. Of course, first we have to get out of beta, then we have to start having regular tournaments and then we can do this. Could be done for Worlds 13 methinks.

As for the actual topic, I would not buy that set. Coming into this thread I expected something awesome, like Dunsparce, Pidgeot, Magcargo, Jirachi DX or even Cradily SS, with trainer lineup of Swoop!, Pow!, Surprise! Time Machine among other things and Scramble/Boost for energies. Wouldnt even need any ultra rares (prime/lv.x/ex). I can guarantee THAT would sell like hotcakes.

TPCi should seriously consider doing something like Legendary Collection 2 instead of the filler/reprint-from-two-sets-ago sets they do.

They should make 'Bonus' packs or 'Reward' packs - which only get distributed by P!P at major events or to top cut-ters of tournaments with a list of good cards. Maybe with a very high chance of primes, holo energy, etc.

It'd only be fair to print another set afterwards named, "Call of Legendary Collection" that would be nothing but reprints of bad but popular Pokemon + basic energy (again). Not only would there be foils and reverse foils, but there'd be reverse-reverse foils that would have foil around the yellow border on the card. They'd be super rare, like 1 in every 10 packs.

Pokemon should have core sets like Magic does, reprinting important cards such as Rare Candy, Warp Point, Double Colorless, and Call energy among other things.

yugioh has a sets like this called gold series you get 3 gold rare that are holo every where except text usually good cards a bout 10 diffrent ones and 22 commons

Pretty much stopped reading there...Ambipom? :nonono:

Have you ever played against Ambipom/Weavile/Slowking?

It WILL make you ragequit.

Unless you run Cleffa, or a Juniper Engine, or a PONT Engine, or several other options that beat that type of disruption. Also funny when your opponent uses Second Sight followed with Astonish as it ruins the whole set-up and the deck tends to crater.

I think you are missing the basic strategy. Slowking is only for once they get your hand to 1 or 0.
Basic Strat:
They setup Ambipom and a sneasel on the bench. They use Judge, get you to 4. evolve to Weavile, look at your hand and discard 1, and then attack with Astonish. This brings you to 1 and they will have chosen all of your valuable cards and would have gotten rid of them. Then they hope you dont draw a hand refresh/hand dump on your next turn, If you do draw one, they rinse and repeat until you dont. Once this happens, they then begin the lock with Slowking(making sure you dont draw refreshers or pokemon who refresh), they bring up their main attacker, and steam-roll you. Main attacker is generally a low energy high output card (Cincinno, Donphan, Etc.)
It generally takes them a few turns to get the lock going, but once it is in place, GG.
It takes a lot of skill and is VERY toolboxy.
