the first link is a documentery about twiztid. the second is one of their songs 'story of our lives' they are messed up! seriously, whatch their doc. they are so abnormal it isn't funny! anyone in detroit should know about these two! jamie, as a child, stuffed his cat puffy in the microwave! thats an example

I'm really digging this UK rapper who goes by K-Os.

He involves himself with some really cool indie artists like Feist and Broken Social Scene, and anyone who can diversify themselves and still retain their own style is definitely a good rapper/artist.
 
Yea Kos is pretty tight i like em. Dont really matter where you from Hip hop and Rap is everywhere. I like a rap group called Swollen Members and there from canada.

I'd put Outkast up there, for lyrical content as well as longevity. Artists like Nas, LL and Jay-Z...as great as they are, there's too many arguments against them.

Personally, I'm a HUGE fan of Talib Kweli...his content and VISION appeal to me so much. Mos Def, Common and Lupe Fiasco are a few more to a lesser extent.

I rap, but I hate the sound of my own voice. :(:(:(
 
I am not the biggest fane of rap but I think that fastest rapper is Twista because he raps hella fast lol. I like Eminem but his songs I like because they are different from evryone elses. Most rap is "I gonna get some putitang", and "I love her but she cheated on me" those styles of songs. Eminem's music actually has meaning, almost every song he has made has to do with his struggle growing up and rising from nothing to becoming something. Thats why I like him.
But seriously though Rap is not music IMO, talking fast is all rap is. The Truly best rappers are Auctioneers IMO.

Youre right. I think its just his voice that threw me off. Him being raised in trinidad was probably responsible for that.
